Lift? Good for you Steve. One day when I grow up & hit it big, LOL. Not to mention raising the roof. Them hard floors get mighty hard. Have a good 'un.

I’m in the same boat, had the transmission rebuilt in my’57 and it 2 months to finish everything, kick down cable, different bracket, one thing after another. We have to take the wins.

A mechanic and a friend told me, the emergency brake has to be exercised. Which means set it often for this very reason. If you don't use it, you lose it. Many emergency rakes are so remote and hard to get to. Hell drives don't even use their turn signals, it a bet many don't know where the EB is.

Great job Dave, as usual. One thing while watching you replace the parking brake cable I noticed that it looked like there was some welding done on the frame. I might be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me. What's with that?

Hey Michael. All the frame welds appear to be factory welds which unfortunately they don't look as good as modern robotic welding. These old cars were mainly hand welded back in the day which differed depending upon day of the week, LOL.
      Thanks for watching.

Hey Gary. It's a pretty good out door Patio heater. The shop is so drafty I don't worry about using it inside. It puts out alot of heat but it goobles up the propane so I use it sparingly. I keep saying I'm gonna fire up my old wood stove but it's buried under too many things, LOL. When it gets too cold I just hibernate in my recliner.. Have a good 'un.
