I really love the late 70's/early 80's feel of this track. I wish more of this was played on the radio. I despise the auto-tuned garbage that is accepted as music these days.
If you just knew that everything you hear has autotune even when you dont notice it.. Its the standard these days, of course depending on the style there is no way to perceive it
" I dread the day when late 80s metal returns" I hope you're not referring to the Hair/Glam metal scene from LA, cause it's technically not metal. It was simply an amalgam of hard rock and "pop metal (aka sold outs and posers)" bands put together by the discographies to cash in on the rising popularity of the metal genre from the early 80s. It was never metal and if it were ever to make a return, it would be under the hard rock tag. Also, not all of the hair bands were that bad; a few of them were decent enough. If, however, by "late 80s metal" you meant thrash and (early) black/death Metal; then I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it's been quite a while since they made their return. In fact, death has been around almost nonstop since 1988, while thrash came back in 2001 and has been experimenting a new and steady regrowth in popularity since at least 2009 (after Metallica put out Death Magnetic and thrash was suddenly "In" again).
This bands is amazing.... The singer is perfect

I thought the same, it really sounds like a band from the NWOBHM back in the late 70's and early 80's
Late 80's Metal was when Death Metal came to life.... I hope you don't mean that as well.
