I wouldn’t use the word “quick spin” when talking about driving in the snow! We live in Portland, Oregon and we don’t get much snow. We just bought a Kia Sportage PHEV and may be driving through mountain passes with snow on longer winter drives and it’s good to know that it works well in the snow.

Start the car before clean it when the weather is snowy. This way you get less cold 🤠.

I picked mine up a week and a half ago and haven't got to try it out in snow yet. I bought the hybrid SX Prestige.

Can you let us know what model you got? I'm particularly interested if its the 19 or 20 inch tire performance (prestige & xline)

Just curious, why don't you park your car in the garage?

My garage is too small. I have two motorcycles as well which are parked there. Just no room

Good question, they are the standard tires that came with the vehicle. I honestly did not look.

@@sfromd We are basically larger than the 52 states of America and have all the seasons here. Not unlike USA our country can kill you very quickly. When you look at a map notice we basically follow the coast line 50 degrees Celsius in the shade standing in the sun is 13 degrees hotter about 145 degree Fahrenheit. Many have broken down and decided to walk your dead in a couple of miles if you leave the car. The coldest ever recorded was -23 degrees C about -10 Fahrenheit. USA is much colder than Australia. So both countries will either cook you or freeze you. I like the added benefit of AWD . We also have dirt highways as well if actually live remote here safest vehicles are the Toyota land cruiser. Need a proper 4WD bit expensive for me. The AWD get you out of most situations. Really only light duty and much more comfortable. This is my second Kia I have been lucky with them. Excellent Value I like the BMW X3 but it’s a $100,000 in Australia. Need small lotto win for one of those. When visiting Alaska I checked what the troopers drove and they had V8 petrol that were not turned of at all for winter. Not shelter for that emergency vehicle at all. Apparently diesel it’s not popular for winter.
