I rewatched that salty trying to eat Kyle's face about 100 times. So glad his reflexes aren't slow lol. So cool (and terrifying) to see it do that though!

And that, my friend, is why you trim your reptile enclosures (especially when your reptiles can seriously harm you!) I would love to see an update on the greenhouse, and a full collection tour at some point in the future. 🐊🐊🐊🐢🦎🐍🐊

I just had to check the measurements for the new enclosure- they look waaaaayyyyyy smaller in the video than they actually are!
Great work and thank you for birdseye-view picture at your instagram account- it actually helped A LOT to understand what you’re talking about regarding everything newly built! 👍👍👍💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏

There was an American Crocodile that used to live in a storm pipe near Lake Tohopekaliga in Kissimmee, but I haven't seen him in over a year now (I haven't gone there daily to check either, though). I'm assuming he was a male because of his size (He looked to be maybe 6 feet)

OH NO these animals are in great body condition. Excess fat causes lethargic animals, fatty liver disease and shorts lives. Most people keep captive animals (crocs, dogs, cats, snakes) overweight and it has become what we perceive as a norm. As for being excited to eat? lol we wouldn’t trade a healthy snappy happy croc for anything, they are opportunistic feeders who have also been conditioned to recognize when its feeding time, like a dog that gets excited when it hears food go into a bowl. Animal behavior is a wonderful thing and after caring for crocodilians for around 20 years you pick up a thing or two lol
