G'day Jason and what's goin on Goose. 😋.
Your engine building videos are always good, man. I often use them as a reference when Betsie's on the operating table.
Hope all is going well Your end. We're just entering our summer, so Betsie's out turning heads.
So as always i appreciate the videos. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

I'm a little anxious about getting ahead of myself with my 2110 build and hoping you can tell me something. I have my case clearanced and I think I'm ready to move on to setting up the deck height stage. Do I want to go ahead and fully assemble the case with sealant and lube and all that? Or should I just temporarily assemble so I can break it all down and clean it again. I've been told not to do anything permanent until I'm ready to assemble the whole engine all at once. Everything checked through and through. I'm sure I'm overthinking, but it makes me wonder about things like torquing my ARP rod bolts ect. I don't think I should do that until it's ready for final assembly. Yet by not doing those types of things, is that throwing off my measurements any? Once Ive checked the bottom end, is it OK to do a final assembly on that and then move on to the cylinders? This is my first time and I've invested a lot in this so I don't want to screw it up.

Once you've checked everything, you can assembly the crank with rods. If you want to dry fit everything, all you need is a light oil such as Marvel's Mystery for a lub. Install the crank with no cam and torque the case halfs. You can then dry fit the pistons and cylinders with no rings. Installed to check deck height. Lots of different ways to do it, just do what is right for you. Especially being new to the process. Take your time.
