it's terrifying to watch, it seems to be a normal behavior among the albatross.

I didn’t realize they have these origami wings that fold in the middle for more compact storage. Amazing.
Poor Pippa... Baby albatross's life is tough.....I wish there is no worse situation than now...Mom!! please stay with your baby Pippa...😭😭
Thank GOD mum was there with pippa. Poor thing she's going through this dayly 😥.
Poor little sweet baby. This lesson must be learned and you must always protect yourself. A smart loving mom is always around and will always protect and help. It is necessary to learn to survive and live happily in this world🐥💞
unless it were any other baby and mother
He is not ‘little’. But he does look like a pile of melting snow. Cutie ❤️
Mom just sat there while Pippa got picked on roughly by the juvenile. I wonder if that's a lesson Pippa has to learn while mom supervised. Then when it got too rough, she stepped in and shooed the juvenile away.
That was stressful to watch. Geez why are those juveniles so aggravating. I think mom let her pippa get harassed at one point. Anyway she got rid of them.
Its to teach them I suppose
😨😖😠 l'Albatros adulte, 😍💪 allez la Maman, défend Pippa ! 😘🥰. Où est le Père ? Reviens vite ! 🐻
I've watched a few of these back to back and I love that momma bird. And she's so tolerant of those lucky humans that she allowed to touch her baby.
YRK allowed the visitor to bully Pippa before she did something.
Good mom, sometime is better than human being
Good thing mama was there.❤
This is either not real, or those mountains are moving closer!
So good to see this! Mom really stood up to red and blue and other one too! ❤️🙏Poor little Pippa is so loving 💕 thanks Liznm!

Thank you liznm
Ona, you're welcome 🤗
Why do the some same species, try to destroy the young? I’ve nvr understood
Bird jerks, just like in the human world. Maybe they were mistreated, don't know but i've seen it with another albatross species too.
Thank you, bird jerks is good. Easy to remember, love it
Oh no
😥😥
Hard to watch
I agree
Maravilha
What does the tittle say? New Zealand English is hard to understand.
LOL
Ok...me again from New Jersey...seems these birds are a little crazy...they choose to build a nest on the edge of a cliff, no protection from the wind and rain, no protection from predators and then raise only one heir? Risky..... I’m amazed they aren’t extinct already....
There were no natural predators until humans brought them. One chick raised successfully is as good a strategy as several chicks of which most die.
Circumcision is a painful thing lol...Red town elder who circumcised every new born but mom cant stand that pain
Circumcision is a barbaric completely unnecessary mutilation. What does that have to do with royal albatrosses?
