I think dad is going to be missing their baby. The affection they show for each other is awesome. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m bit jealous of what they have.
This makes me see why people use the expression “love birds” instead of love dogs , love cats or an other variation to describe an affectionate couple.

At my local riverside I see ducks and swans in pairs all the time. Swans mate for life, ducks stay together during one mating season. So yeah there's science behind the expression.

So sweet, these gentle giants. Look how delicate and affectionate they are with their beaks. Reminds me of my Cockatoo that licks my tears off my face when I’m crying with that strong giant beak she can be so caring and gentle.
