I just got the civic lx 2024 I was wondering if the car has keyless entry in other words can I walk up to the car and it will unlock without having to press the button on my key fob?
I have only been topping 28mpg hasn't budged over that 1 mpg and hasn't gone under 27.6. Ive had my 2024 honda civic sport almost 2 months now my fiance got hers same time the basic model 2024 honda civic shes hitting 38mpg with ease consistanly . Should i un hook my battery terminal and reset computer? Or is thier something else at play. I am about to bring it into service and have them figure it out. I hopeits just a glitch i love the new civics.
Hi Dungan. Can you turn off the Honda Sensing, specially Traffic Sign Recognition System exceeding speed limit warning, Road Departure Mitigation System and Lane Keeping Assist System? I mean permanently, so it won't pop up after engine restart?
Under vehicle settings you can adjust the traffic sign recognition. As far as Road departure that's going to be a button on the left side of the dash below the air vents. Lane keep assist is located on the right side of the steering wheel.
My civic radio have display but no wording on it anyway I can fix this on my own? Is there anyway I can reach the trunk while on the move from back seat?
Been waiting to see someone show something actually NEW in these videos…everything shown from what I can tell the previous Gen also had😅 atleast my 19 civic compared to my 22hatchback is all the same safety, tips and tricks, only thing that changes is when you get an exl or the touring models but pretty sure last gen American sold civics had heated steering wheels and back seats but now only Canadian civic get that option so really we lost options/features💩
@@DugansDemos there is no option for that. I've been into all of the setting selections and it's nowhere to be found. I'll just have to take it back into Rusty Wallace Honda and see if they can explain it.

Thank you for the kind feedback Emily. Unfortunately, the Civic LX does not come standard with remote start. So, unless they added an aftermarket one (which I would recommend reaching out to your salesman about) I can't help with that. If they did add one on your key fob, typically you just press the lock button twice then press and hold the "circle" button until you see the lights flash at you. It will then run for 10 minutes before shutting off.

It's just a premium color. In fact on the 22 civic sedans, the platinum white pearl, morning mist and sonic gray are all premium colors so it's a $395 upcharge
My 23 Civic Sport doesn’t show a temp gauge, doesn’t have one. It only shows a blue water and thermometer gauge when first started and I assume a red one if the thing overheated. Never seen a car not have a temp gauge fully visible, but the gauge cluster A doesn’t have it, B does.
@@DugansDemos, got another question. I have the fully loaded 2022 Touring addition Civic. The wireless charging port works for a few minutes then stops. I take the case off my phone since I have a popsocket on it (wouldn't charge at all with it on), but it is so random the length of time it will charge. The light turns yellow when charging, an icon appears on my display screen, but then it stops. Do I need to take it to the dealership?
@@teatipsy3917 is your phone fully charged when it stop? Or is it getting hot when it stops? If it’s none of the above then I’d say yea I’d take it in. Especially since the first year is the”adjustment phase” and it should be covered by warranty if there’s an issue.

The funnel is for the cap less fuel tank. I suppose you could use it for oil if you wanted. But the intended purpose was for gas.

I have not heard of anyone having that issue. I would definitely bring it in to the service dept to be looked at
If you are siting in it alot with the car running and not moving it will show less mpg.

I just bought a 22 sport today. I've watched all kinds of videos on how to access the Walkaway auto lock feature... But i cannot find it on any menu.
On your infotainment center, go to settings>vehicle settings>door/window>scroll down and click walk away auto lock and select "on"

Go into Setting, Phone, Bluetooth Devices and click each device to delete. I believe. Sorry, I don't have one here in front of me to go step by step

Are you able to lock the doors from outside while your car is running?
If you have it remote started yes, if it's on then I don't believe so. You can shut it down, then remote start it as you go inside somewhere.

Sadly you do. I don’t like that feature, but yes it has to be disabled each time the car turns on

With the smart entry system the key fob just needs to be on you when you reach for the door knob

Using the key that comes out of the key fob in the door. Turn it to the left once then on the second time hold it and it rolls them back up
