I enjoyed your video. It would be cool to have a totally sleek tilt rotor copter with built in camera like the Bebop Parrot. You can't underestimate the looks of your copter just sitting on the table while you're talking about it. I wish you luck with the TR260. It is an impressive flyer.

The RCAddict Smaller is Race Legal too. also using same power combo (Same Motors, ESCs and Props Combo) that used for that big 330 size 1.3kg heavy quad, on this little 900g all out flying weight quad for sure makes it more powerful and faster than 330 size. :D its like putting a 1600cc Hayabusa Engine in a Smart Car :D hehehehe

Coming along nicely. Want to see some hardbank turns. Lot of people are skeptical this is a real FPV racer.
OC_AirWolf Coming up full flight videos you can see how it handles turns super nice. and I can do more videos focusing on turning only :)
alishanmao Please do. Especially for racing. I think a lot of FPV racers are curious to see how it handles the turns. Will it lose the Apex when turning?
OC_AirWolf Sure thing, when I get the sample that has all the finalized and modified parts that will be sold. I will bring the quad to RC Airport and Try to mark a Course using Google Earth maps, and then fly that course making sure it has enough sharp turning to show how well this quad handles the turns and courses.
Also there is a proximity fpv spot where there are lots of trees and a square that i can go around having 3 sharp turns to make maintaining speed.
I will bring another Traditional quad as well and fly both quads one by one on the same course and put videos side by side so people can see actual performance of Swift TR260 :)
as I have many reviews to do, so this video might take some time before i can upload it :)

pretty neat. I'm curious how does a front flip or back flip look like from the inside with DRT activated.
Seb K When DRT is activated Front and back flips can go nasty :D left and right flips are ok but when I wanna do front and back flips I can instantly turn off the DRT by a switch.
I have tried front and back flip with DRT Activated, normally they end up in flip roll type of thing :D hehehe

So this quad will be in another class then the 250 Quad Racers correct ? You think that tilting motors will race side by side with a 250 with non tilting motors?
CRash and Burn Tilting is just a new feature in this quadcopter. Its still a 250 class Racer Quadcopter so why not? Its totally race legal. Just in case if a club is just too strict on allowing to use tilting feature or not, user can flip a switch to turn off tilting feature.
however, in 250 class racing, people bring 260, 280 size quads and some of them have tilted motors already so why not OFM Swift TR260 that can tilt motors dynamically? :)

alishanmao thx! I'm a bigger, so I have to get hold of some cheap 5.8 GHZ quadcopter before i get this one, very nice concept on those tilting motors though.
TheSkyCuber You can always turn off the DRT (Dynamic Rotor Tilting) and turn them on with a flip of a Switch. But yes I suggest first go with a cheap FPV Racing quad that you build yourself, so you will have experience to build and repair. and later when your skills are good, you can go with this one.

I think you've got a winner here Ali. One question I have though, will spare parts be available when it goes on sale? I recently bought a cheap rtf 250 quad and broke an arm in a crash, only to find out you cant get parts for it anywhere and I can't even buy a full frame. So now I'm pretty cautious about making sure parts are available before I buy any of these racing quads. I don't need another expensive doorstop!
Dave Baril That is one key point in business when releasing a new product. I will make key parts readily available and have asked factory to produce ample quantity of Spare parts as well. Only those parts that i think will break very easily will be made more spares.

That's very generous Kendrick. It is a CF frame (It's the Indy 250 Plus from RC Timer). I've managed to buy a replacement frame so I think I'm good, but if you can cut spare parts for that frame you'd probably have a lot of customers over on the RC Groups thread for the plus. I broke the front arms plate on mine and reached out to RC Timer several times but they barely acknowledged my existence. Luckily for me somebody on the tread stripped his down to port to another frame and offered to sell me the frame. Would love to see parts available for this, it's actually a very fast and fun frame to fly, just not as much fun when you have to fly it like an old lady because if you damage the frame you're done.
Just to get back on topic, my next purchase will either be a Vortex, a Swift, or a Runner 250. More likely a Vortex or Swift, I'm not really a Walkera fan and I haven't been all that impressed with the videos I've seen. That one is going to be a really tough decision, the Vortex has more features, but the dynamic tilt motors on the swift is absolutely killer.

Is the DMT crah proop enough for race?

I have a question though. How do you control Motor tilt angle?
stilkus Tilt is controlled via a separate Channel. You can either set the motor angle to be permanent as per your desire, or you can lock the motors in horizontal, (Traditional) way. Or you can turn on the Tilt Mixing so that Motors will move with Forward and backward stick giving more speed at leveled flight.
I like to fly with motor tilting mixing on. and its superb. I lock the tilting during flight when i want to do aerobatics ;)

Can you try a naze32 board in there and make available the settings for that flight controller.

With the kit version could 2300kv motors be fitted with 5inch props.
Kendrick Apps I am testing 2000kv motors on 5inch Props and 4S setup and there is tons of power and speed. but if users want to use their own motors, they can use easily by replacing our supplied stock motors.
Naze 32 can be used for sure, however, for the tilt rotors to work properly, Stabilized mode is a must with some custom mixing in radio. Tilt rotors do not give much advantage in acro or rate modes :D

You can use FPV Monitor, but at these speeds to fly proximity Goggles are highly recommended. you can email me that you are interested in this quad and I can save your email to send you prices via emails once we release prices. This way you do not have to often come to video or site to get updates

Gatz22 Unfortunately yes, because of the high speeds this quad can get (upto 120+ km/h) beginners can not handle this quad at those speeds. but again in stabilized mode you can always fly it slow. there is no GPS in this :D

george aura Learn to fly on your current Quad. OFM Swift TR260 is a tilt rotor Pro racing quad and can achieve speeds up to 120km/h. So its not for beginners. I suggest you improve your manual flight control skills asap
