Agreed. There aren't a lot of actors that could convince me of genius. Its especially hard now that actors put there own personalities out there for everyone to see. I think the smartest thing an actor can do is keep their life private to the public unless they are like the people they play. Obviously social media and talk shows make that difficult
His movie Motherless Brooklyn was so good. It was a lot better than i expected would be, his love and vision towards cinema was very well shown in the movie 🔥🙌
Huge fan of this man hi knowledge and movie capture my attention God bless him he is a true blessing to me and a chance to meet or talk to him as a friend would be a great blessing for a runner dying of cancer amen
A great talent sitting right there. Entertaining to watch and to listen to. Not to mention easy on the eye. King is a gorgeous man and Norton or whatever his name is is jackpot lucky getting the privilege of sitting across from him.
Don't listen to Larry super frequently, so I didn't end up searching for a vid of him and Norton until just now. Thus, this reply is reeeeeeeeeally late. BUT! I saw the movie a day or two after the premiere date, last month. The beginning drags a little, takes it's time to get going, but once it does it really feels like a sort of hard-boiled private eye mystery drama from a bygone era, made with the polish and style of modern film making. The cinematography, from the lighting choices to the framing of shots frequently feels reminiscent of noir films in the perfect love-letter. The cast is full of juggernauts, each immediately feeling like a fleshed out person, and not like "Willem Dafoe playing a character". Has a great sense of humor without feeling like a comedy, drawing naturally from awkward circumstances in tense moments instead of setting up for a joke. Highly recommend it. That being said--and obviously I'm going to be biased in my own opinions--I wouldn't say it struck me in the same way that Joker did. A certain story beat in both films feels weirdly coincidental, now that I think about it. Rarely watch a film that makes me that uncomfortable, in a great way. Both are very entertaining though, assuming the tone and style is a person's cup of tea.
Edward Norton is a great actor I enjoy his interviews as much as I enjoy his movies
Same.
To me he's closer to Banner than Ruffalo

Best actor ever seriously never seen a bad performance 👏 😎 🤣
Larry seems aged a decade since I last saw his interviews. Hopefully just the flu.
Jeez, Larry looks all shriveled up and almost emaciated. Is he just sick or something?
he's had a rough year with ailments. He's still going, just not as strong as before.

Is the movie any good? anyone? It's certainly getting overshadowed by Joker and Parasite released this season

It’s very good for his first directorial role, such a good movie. Well written, nice cinematography, very good acting 👍👍
