Home to over 3 500 birds, this free-flight aviary - the biggest in the world - is an amazing eyeful. Situated just outside of Plettenberg Bay, this 2.3ha aviary has a 3.2 mesh cover and a 1.2km criss-cross walkway. You'll be blown away by the 200 species of birds, as well as small monkeys, squirrels, bats, bushbabies and breathtaking waterfall.

I miss Charleen. She was my best friend and loved animals. She knew the biological and normal names of all the birds. She knew the mating habits, where each bird originated from, what they eat and many other facts. She had a photographic memory. She was funny and amazing..
