Another great video. Going up and down those banks looks easy as a viewer but I’ll bet it’s quite an effort! Looking forward to receiving a free sample of your canning.😂😂

Copper River salmon has been my favorite food to eat for years. Fishing wasn't my forte when we lived in Alaska; however, we never dip-netted the Copper River. I would love to try it if I ever went back, but I can see all of the gear it takes to be comfortable. Thank you for the video I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Heads up
June 24 20:01am was the end of retention of king salmon in the copper river and all tributaries. So u must have went before this vid hopefully. Love the vids this emergency order came out last Thursday

Thank you. I always check with Fish and Game, just before I go, to make sure there are not any new EO’s in effect. That is a great point that I should have included. 👍🏽

    • @RaisedinAlaska

I think I mentioned in the video that I was proxying someone. That said, as I mentioned in another of your comments, they closed King salmon the Monday after I returned from my trip this year. That said, with proxy a person can retain one additional king for their proxy. That said, if a person is dipping above the bridge, they can retain five king salmon. Thank you for watching.

@@RaisedinAlaska agreed you mentioned it. I know you follow all rules and regulations my comment was for others if they didn’t know about the closure to kings. Thats why I never attacked you lol. Im sure you clipped the tails your spot on with your vids. Great content I enjoy watching your vids. Keep doing what your doing thanks

@@RaisedinAlaska the numbers don’t look great as of late. I got me a Kalisof Permit also and this past weekend I got 20. It was Okay not bad. Fish were everywhere and it was fun. Keeping a close watch on the fish counts and water levels. The river is up almost 3 feet since I was there last. Going to pass on this weekend and stay over here (Anchorage)

You would have caught fish at every spot if the were running. The back eddy makes your net fly correctly.
