@@Christian_D24right ? The color looks spot on … I used to restore and customize shoes and I can tell u all it probably needed was a slight shine on the leather
I think it did threw the color off. The original color had a better effect. But just touching up the scratched parts wouldve make them not match and look weird. Definitly painting all of it was the way to go
I think you did great on the Iridescent 6’s Vic! Plus i’m amazed by the debris and dirt the air compressor removes. Shoe looks completely different with some air only
Great work as always Vick. What chameleon pigment powder did you use please? Blue to Green Anolis or Chromis? And what blue as the base colour? I am an Angelus user so if you can help please, thank you in advance 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Got me thinking... Would the result have been closer to the DS pair if the color used to repaint the pair was in a darker shade of green rather than using blue?
Vick, always loved your work and your videos. For everyone commenting about colour… it’s so hard sometimes to colour match, but for this pair, Alpha6 sell a Mermaid iridescent paint which would have worked better.
or a deep, metallic green base for the pigment. But, I still think these look great, gonna look for a pair to do myself. Bet it’s harder than it looks! 😅
Hello. I just bought Jumpman two trey Jordans in black/white/red. I want to paint the midsole from white to black. I don't have a pressure gun, so is it better to do it with a brush or a sponge? And should I spray it with clear lacquer at the end?
@@RESHOEVN8R On the Angelus channel I saw mixing colored paint with plastic adhesion promoter 2-hard. What do you think about it? Is only color will enough for a piece of the side of the sole?
It really just depends on how dirty the sneakers are. We recommend it for mesh, knit, canvas sneakers or even some leather sneakers to fully flush them out. Suede/ nubuck materials you have to be really careful with. One other way to gauge it would be to do the pretreatment and see if they bleed any color; if they do don't put them in the wash.
Hi, I got a Question. I have a Jordan 4 Bred from 2012 and its pretty destroyed. My question is íf theres a way to restourate the fabric of the Sneaker? Because its starting to go off and I dont have any Idea?
Daaammnnn my 99 Oreo 4’s I sent in to the email were in way worse shape than those! Would’ve saved the cost of however much those were and would’ve made a better video 😢
Nice Job, but you should've used it 2 separate layers, and not mixed the Pigment with the paint. Layer the base colour (Black/Blue) then the Chameleon shift pigment mixed with clear colour as the second layer. That's how color-shifting paint works.
I have doernbecher 4s I need restored also have tons of Jordan’s from the early 2000s and a pair of ds 93 playoff 8s I’ve emailed before and you’ve told me you don’t take restorations lol
Whoever had those Jordans didn't wear them much judging by the sole. How the uppers got damaged like that with limited wear time is anyone's guess. Having a sole with minimal wear is probably what he was looking for to make restoration easier.
Sooo.. unfortunately these didn't work out so well, the "paint" on the shoe wasn't paint. It was an ink. What should have happened is you should have mixed clear satin acrylic base with your irridescent glitter/mica and thinned it with some airbrush thinner. The problem was, you repainted the whole shoe with an opaque paint. You lost the iridescence and replaced it with metallic. Where you went wrong is mixing the iridescent pigment with the color, if you had shadowed the shoe with a thinned black ink, and highlighted with a thinned blue ink and sprayed the thinned clear and iridescent pigment you'd have something amazing. And even with all that, you should have only done the damaged areas
Sent in an email for my air zoom generations and pure money 4s! I also had an idea for a pair of aj15 lows getting a tongue swap with the tongue of the aj15 kubo.
Shoe is 7 years old and if you can’t buy a new pair by then than you simply shouldn’t be buying these sneakers. Not worth any arm grease. He used compressed air to remove dust ……
I like the color matching methods you used, I think a little green would of made it a 100% match. Still a good restoration ❤
Thank you for that feedback and support

@@RESHOEVN8R which chameleon pigment did Vick use, as there are multiple that could work? 7:00
should've just touched up the scratch spots and not repainting the whole shoe, it kinda threw the color off

These ones are so dope, my favorite Jordan 6 of all time, I have them since high school
Great job Vick, I would have never been able to get that color shifting paint right
It is a tough task for sure
Glad you did this. Have a giant paint scuff on the chameleon 1s and I never knew how to repaint them

Which green you suggest?

I see the compressor method came in handy.
need to see you restore jordan 6s back tab. Mine broke on my 2017 unc and i haven’t been able to find anything on fixing or replace them
We can look into this.
Bro! This is dope. Do you think this method would work on the bronze 5s?
You should paint it on 2 coats that color shift is hard even on cars
Been missing out on the recent videos so time to catch up on Vick’s RESHOEVN8R miracle’s 💪 👟
You really should. We uploaded some amazing content.
Damn I got these too ! Save mine because I agree they are a dope shoe

Hello there😊
Im a fan.
is there anyway to fix a scuffed up reflective paint, specifically on the AJ12 CNY?
Let me get with Vick on this
I think you would've been better off using a 1st coat of a tealish blue, and then spraying the chameleon pigment. Came out clean though. Nice job!
We appreciate your feedback.
Yo Vick, where'd you get that white sox fitted from? 🔥 🔥 🔥
nike SB Azure blazer gold box, think you could make them look brand new? I don't think I've seen you restore a paid of SB Blazers yet.
nvm you did the red supremes, but still lol

Seeing the end result. Should’ve went with a emerald green instead of the navy blue. Threw the color off a lot, but overall good restoration

The brush can give a better finish. We usually use Krylon matte finish to finish the paint job and protect them.
@@RESHOEVN8R On the Angelus channel I saw mixing colored paint with plastic adhesion promoter 2-hard. What do you think about it? Is only color will enough for a piece of the side of the sole?
I painted mines all black and put black laces and added a Matt finish
I had the same ones got here in a thrift shop in Philippines for 7$ but it has a crack outsole on the ice soles
Those shoes came out 2017 all-star weekend
I also have jordan 6 but it needs to be restored😢
Hoped to be picked for restiration❤
We can consider if we have not worked on it before.
Question, nothing happens to the board last? Since it’s gonna be in the washing machine it doesn’t mess it up?
No, its washing machine safe.
How many minutes do you scrub for before putting in laundry machine?
Using brushes does not depend on time. You need to clean complete shoe with all 3 brushes.
@@RESHOEVN8R Thankyou
