- It must have taken him much courage and determination to pursue his hawker business last year at the age of 46. Coming from Ipoh, Mr Cheah mastered the recipe passed down from his grandmother, and offers authentic Ipoh curry noodles in dry and soup versions. The signature soup noodles, with rich and savoury broth, is generously topped with roast pork and Char Siew that the stall roasts itself. The dry version is topped with chunks of chicken and potato, and drenched in thick curry gravy.
The outlet at Veerasamy is the second outlet after the first at Blk 332 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1. Veramsammy out is closed.

Got Ipoh Curry Noodles there too? Way better than my city. Although we are part of Malaysia but NO ipoh food here. I would love to try Ipoh curry noodles...looks really delicious. But I do not think can compete with our homemade curry soup...lol

I'm not a curry person but as he uses honey in his glazes instead of glucose and roasts his own meat I'll be there with bells on for Char sui, Sui Yok and roast duck rice. I have to admit though the colour he gets from his base that incredible deep red glistening through the oil layer is just incredible same base for a really good Malay satay is the only other time I've seen that colour. Good Luck Mr Cheah I think your food looks fantastic and I will look you up next I am in Singapore.

@@HappyCat.CarlNeo Very kind of you HC I lived in SQ as a kid, was an expat kid and travel through fairly regularly try to spend a couple of days stopover each way when travelling that is why I love watching the hawker videos, I find a new place to try or a centre I've never heard of to try a new hawker stall (especially the stuff I love which is too numerous to list lol) the hotels are fantastic but eating locally gives you a better idea of the cultures and the melting pot that is SQ also the changes that it si going through it with the newer generation of hawkers.
I hope we can hang out for good food next time. 😊
