Who will be Auckland's next Mayor?

It's good to see regular uploads. The mayoral race for Auckland is promising in that free public transport is being discussed, something that could be replicated throughout all of NZ eventually. That poll you mentioned is strange in that there are 4 candidates with very similar numbers, this is a rare occurrence to my knowledge and makes for an interesting election later this year.

It's pretty far out from the election and all the candidates are pretty unknown that's why the polls are so spread. I think in a few months the polls will look more regular, probably efeso vs Moloy

Efeso seems pretty based, hope he wins. the rest seem a bit shit except maybe Brown. I really hope car lady doesn't win

@@TuiPolitics Nah I love the guy, I reckon his Mayoralty was pretty rough post COVID, but as a politician he was just a groovy, charming social democrat. Plus, local politics especially in Auckland, but also as a whole is just broken, so I reckon he gave it a good kiwiana go and did the best job he could.
