Barnwood / Shiplap Accent Wall with Sound, LED and Floating Shelves

- In this video, I update a plain textured wall to a barnwood / faux shiplap accent wall. This includes the prep, the barnwood installation, in-wall speakers for a 5.1 surround sound system, floating faux live edge shelves, television and LED lights. I think the results were fantastic, and anyone can do something similar in a weekend.

I accidentally watched it from Facebook without logging in, so I am watching a 2nd time. Well done. It reminds me of putting an old tube tv (our last one) and associated stb / dvd into the wall under the stairwell in our old cape in Mass. Things are so sleek now by comparison. I still wonder what the people who bought the house in '06 did about the hole in the wall, since flatscreens were already taking over. 🤣

This is everything I want to do but I'm too intimidated by it. Seems a little less scary now! By the way, you have a great voice that would be perfect for audiobooks. Just something to think about!
I was sort of intimidated by it too, but it turns out for really no reason. Get past the first row and you are off. I was worried about gaps, etc. they turn out to be just part of the look.
