this just shows how slightly more insane coyote is than more people lol, not saying this in a disrespectful way but mark was getting super nervous and lightheaded (completely normal and understandable ofc) while coyote just does it no hesitation. Anyhow massive respect to both of them

Intimidation value is a huge factor. A Huntsman spider, that you can hear walking before you even see it above you on the ceiling would score a 10 for intimidation...Basically a harmless creature regards venom or bite ...but if you're driving along the road and a 7 inch wide spider suddenly drops on your lap from the car's sun visor it could, and has caused serious traffic accidents. Therefore intimidation value is a powerful aspect of the scale.
Bro if a 7 inch spider drops on me while I'm driving I would die before I even have time to crash the car 😂

Those are common in my country, I’ve never been stung by one before buy I’ve been told that the sting is very painful. What I find funny about this insect is that it literally has its jaws open ALL OF THE TIME and I don’t know why but it’s maybe a defense mechanism so if they feel harmed they’re jaws are already open and are ready to bite
They can't break skin, they just bounce off of you if they try to bite

The good news is, ants are generally very clean animals, so the likelyhood of infection from a bite is significantly lower than it could be

Back in the day when i would go to Mexico to visit my grandparents they would have an old film jar full of fire ants, and they would use it to kill bugs. Spiders and roaches mainly. They would call it "la liquadora roja" for spiders they would just cup it over the spider, much like you see the trending videos with ppl cupping wasps with a gasoline filled cup. For roaches and other bugs, they would sprinkle out a few onto it to dispatch the nuisance. And every week or so they would put them back onto the ant hill and have us kids wrangle more up with a sugar cube and pork lard lol. But man never having done that, when i went i got bit a few times

I waited until watching the whole video to see if you'd mention the suture story. It brings back memories of being young and adventurous with my friend who's dad told us about this suture story. we tried in vain with regular common ants in our region of northeast USA to get this to work. Little did we know he left out the detail about which ant species this worked for hahah. Good video !
