It seemed to be very toxic for both of them... the abuse was mutual... so my question is this... Had it been the other way around, and MK was killed... with the same exact evidence and no confession... and a self defense claim on his part... do you believe that he would have been found not guilty as well?? 🤔 I think he would be found guilty of first degree murder under the same exact circumstances... so because she is a woman, she is able to claim victim?? I’m pretty sure that it was a debate whether it was murder, or self defense. Cause you have a right to defend yourself if someone if trying to hurt you. So even though she mostly did kill him, it’s not necessarily ridiculous because the ruling (unfortunately) was self defense I’m pretty sure. I hope this helps!

EMT here! We aren’t actually trained in what to do when it comes to ‘crime scenes’. We are just taught to remove danger quickly so we can approach and perform life saving treatment. I agree. Sounds like the state should have charged her with a lesser charge like man slaughter or something that fits the crime just to a lesser degree than the original charges. If that makes sense. Maybe she wouldn’t have gotten off free as a bird. Definitely deserved to go to prison for this.
@@Crayola.n Yeah a lot of times the prosecution doesn’t want to charge with the lesser offense because they are afraid the jury will go with that instead of charging them with straight up murder. Now this is just from my personal experience from being in a DV relationship. As a victim we know we can't fight back or anything in private. So in public it looks as if we're the mean one. But really we're just showing all the built up emotions. I also never spoke to anyone about it. But he constantly talked about me to try to make me look bad or like I deserved it. And I also have went looking for him to come home. They break down your soul and who you are as a person, you depend on them to live. Because they make you believe it. My abuser ended up I prison for being a habitual offender. Who knows what really went on with them though. @Kendall Rae
Yes.. when I was listening to this it hit home. I would react more in public because it is almost safer? And yes they know exactly how to trigger the response they want out of you so you look like you are unstable. And even though you want to leave if you’re trauma bonded then you feel like you’re dying without them. It’s a very hard situation for outside people to understand but psychologically your abuser is also the person who comforts you so it makes you feel like you need to be with them to survive. It is just a very sad situation for all of the families involved.
I did not know that it was a normal part of the DV timeline of abuse to make the victim seem like the one abusing………….That’s where I’m at in the timeline now. 😢💔 I have called back to back like that too and blown up texts….I even called his mom (asking for advice and wisdom…not to stalk the man. To be clear.) all of that because the last thing he said to me before he left, whispering under his breath…was something like: You’re daughter is f*+\# bc of you. I feel sorry for her with you as her mom. I would never, ever harm him or anyone physically. I’m getting out. I am just thinking, why was he so vocal about her hitting him or being crazy? I AM a victim. It’s humiliating to tell others, it’s hard, it’s not like I vent and complain openly that he’s this psycho. I say to everyone he’s going through some hard stuff, but he’s a good person. He just needs help. No ONE, no one should be harmed physically. And it’s heart breaking the young man’s life was stolen from him. Again - it is NOT ok to harm anyone, if there was abuse - he did NOT deserve this. If this wasn’t abuse - he did NOT deserve this. So it’s irrelevant really. Just hurts the family overall. So sorry for the young man @ his family. 🤍
Agreed. My ex was extremely manipulative and a total narcissist. He had everyone convinced I was horrible and abusive to him "behind closed doors" and he would push me and push me and any reactive abuse I had in public he would be like "SEE SHE'S CRAZY?" And then when we got home he'd verbally and mentally assault me, throw things at me or just past me, punch holes in walls, hurt himself to "not hurt me" and threaten me physically. I got out before it escalated any further. I do not think it was right for her to kill him, but it may have truly been in self-defense. It's definitely not something people outside of DV can understand. Your abuser will 100% turn the world against you so no one will ever believe you and paint you as the villain so you are completely ostracized and alone without them. Like forced co-dependency.

As someone who's lived through an accidental shooting where it wasn't known there was a bullet in the chamber, it can happen... I don't think it's what happened in this case AT ALL, but it is possible.

not to mention, if she shot him with her glock, they do not have a safety lock, they have a safety trigger so you REALLY have to pull the trigger on a glock to shoot it. that’s no accident.
Even just having her finger on the trigger in order to “accidentally” squeeze it, to me proves her intent to harm. Gun safety is never pointing a gun at someone unless you intend to shoot them, when you’re pointing a gun at someone with your finger on the trigger, it’s pretty obvious how that’s going to end.
@@ViolentNightshade Thank you. The VERY first safety rule you are taught surrounding firearms is that they are NEVER pointed at someone unless you intend to shoot. She would have known that. Guilty af.

Right ?! It’s legit one of the first couple rules in gun safety. One would think it’s common knowledge (and common sense lol) but I got in a dumbass argument with some popular model on Instagram that posted a bunch of videos and photos trying to be cool by pointing a loaded fucking gun at the cameraman. When I pointed out why it’s not safe to do so, she argued with me, tried to deny it when her cameraman had a literal picture of her pointing the gun directly at him, tried to sick her crew against me, and ofc ended up deleting all the comments; and I’m still salty about it because it’s so lame that someone is so delusional, surrounded by “yes men”, and has the narcissistic trait of never wanting to be wrong even when they’re provided with evidence disproving their argument 🤦♀️
This story is so sad. This could have easily been my story. Toxic relationships are so twisted, confusing, and difficult. I'm so grateful I was able to get away from the toxic relationship i was in when i was younger. I was in a relationship where it started out with mild "back and forth" pettiness and it caused both of us to both become more toxic towards each other. I consider myself a pretty decent person over all, but its easy to become someone you dont even recognize under manipulative circumstances.
I agree. I was in an abusive marriage for 27 years and he would be the hands on abuser and me the voice. When you are in a toxic relationship your nerves and temper and control can make you do things you normally wouldn't do. You feel like you can't live without them. That no one would want you and you wouldn't be happy with no one else. When it's good it's good but when it's bad it's bad and someone always makes the decision to take the bad one step further. There is always a breaking point ALWAYS.
Thing is the truth might be somewhere in the middle. The girlfriend suffered from a traumatic experience this altered her perception of a health relationship is. The mother comments about her sin being afraid that the girlfriend would commit suicide can be used as proof on what might have happened in the end.
Either way, she took a life. And it wasn’t in self defense since he was sitting down. If that was my son, I would be absolutely devastated with the lack of justice.
If she claims he lunged at her when she shot when they proved he was sitting down when he was shot totally disproves self defense in that moment. Whether all the other stuff is true or not the moment he was shot he was sitting on his bed. That's murder not self defense.
Yep. Forensic evidence proved her story was false. You're on it Kristen LR ! I can't believe she got off. Definitely didn't seem like a healthy relationship either way but justice wasn't served.
Completely different things. Contrary to what a lot of libtards believe, most hunters don't hunt because they hate animals. Deer hunting for instance. It's much more cruel to let the deer population get out of control than it is to hunt a certain percentage of them.
Sounds like they were in a terrible relationship. They were both wrong in their treatment of eachother. But she killed him. After threating to kill him multiple times. So.
@Mo Elm no one said that justifies murder. Just proves he was abusive as well as she was. She’s guilty of murder definitely, but he still was abusive. It’s not like he couldn’t have been abusive and been murdered in the same token.

Man, if you have a man go to his guy friends and tell them all he's being abused, then something serious is going on. Because unfortunately of how masculinity is viewed, many men will hide that.
I genuinely can’t comprehend how people still try to use the “accidental trigger” excuse. This is not the movies nor is it a Hollywood TV series, there’s a pressure value that has to be met for the trigger to pull. Pounds of pressure.
Agreed. If she was a male she would have been charged and I say this as a female myself. Phil Spector rightfully went to prison despite claiming the shooting was all an accident because it was murder and it didn’t add up. Same should have applied to her.
Well, the prosecutor asked for a murder case, while Mary said she, 'accidentally' shot him, so that automatically makes it more complicated, combined with the possible abuse and mostly circumstantial evidence. There wasn't enough evidence to convict her for murder, they should have gone for a manslaughter charge.

I just typed the same thing. So glad someone else pointed this out. I get so sick of hearing stories everywhere claiming a gun "accidentally went off" My husband is a marine vertan, my grandpa is an army veteran...both with multiple tours of duty. My grandfather shot a hole in his floor while cleaning, and he knows its bc he made a mistake. He didnt treat the gun like it was loaded and pulled the trigger before checking. If you do 3 simple things then a gun CAN NOT "accidentally discharge" 1.treat all weapons as if they were loaded 2.keep your finger off the trigger(unless you ready to shoot) 3.never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to shoot.
Exactly!! And for someone who is suppose to know basic gun safety, she should have been well aware that the gun was loaded and you don’t throw a gun at someone.

This. They make you this horrible crazy abuser when they brought you to that point.
Yes.. when I was listening to this it hit home.
I have called back to back like that too and blown up texts….I even called his mom (asking for advice and wisdom…not to stalk the man.

And then when we got home he'd verbally and mentally assault me, throw things at me or just past me, punch holes in walls, hurt himself to "not hurt me" and threaten me physically. I got out before it escalated any further. I do not think it was right for her to kill him, but it may have truly been in self-defense. It's definitely not something people outside of DV can understand.
They were both abusive towards eachother, but she definitely shot him on purpose
Agreed but everyone has a limit and the gun should of been removed from the house.
Yet who started the abuse?
They seem happy how sad. Makes me wonder how many people who seem happy are actually crazy
Either way, she took a life. And it wasn’t in self defense since he was sitting down. If that was my son, I would be absolutely devastated with the lack of justice.
This!!! I agree 100%! How is it "self defense" when he's sitting down and she's standing!!
If she claims he lunged at her when she shot when they proved he was sitting down when he was shot totally disproves self defense in that moment. Whether all the other stuff is true or not the moment he was shot he was sitting on his bed. That's murder not self defense.
100%
THIS!!
100% the rest of it didn't matter, it's what she did in that moment
Yep. Forensic evidence proved her story was false. You're on it Kristen LR ! I can't believe she got off. Definitely didn't seem like a healthy relationship either way but justice wasn't served.
“Family says she’s known to love animals” “loves to hunt” 😅
Completely different things. Contrary to what a lot of libtards believe, most hunters don't hunt because they hate animals. Deer hunting for instance. It's much more cruel to let the deer population get out of control than it is to hunt a certain percentage of them.
Sounds like they were in a terrible relationship. They were both wrong in their treatment of eachother.
But she killed him. After threating to kill him multiple times.
So.
@Mo Elm the text messages
@Mo Elm stop trying to sound objective or play them down. those texts proved some abuse on his end. i
@Mo Elm no one said that justifies murder. Just proves he was abusive as well as she was. She’s guilty of murder definitely, but he still was abusive. It’s not like he couldn’t have been abusive and been murdered in the same token.
@Mo Elm what the messages proved was that they were both at the very least verbally abusive to one another. Whether or not the abuse was actually physical we can’t know for sure.
Crazy to me how police stations don't have the best of the best when it comes to video and audio equipment. These confession videos should be in HD.
Griffin GA is a tiiiny ass town, i’d be surprised if they’re not still recording on tapes
They blow so much money on these souped up Ford Chargers I’m sure they totally disregard their AV systems.
Well judging by your health care system it is a third world country.

@@rootsm3 No, some of these stations just don't have the budget. That's just not how it works. There's an entire commissioning agency that decides where that money goes and sometimes the money just isn't there.

She’s guilty. Not enough evidence to prove it wasn’t self defense though.
Her simply lying about how she did it was enough thought and tying to play the sad scared girlfriend who “accidentally “ killed their boyfriend on the 911 call (knowing she was drunk or drinking and she probably killed him out of anger especially if they were arguing which can be proved and boom the motive is there and tbh it’s obvious) etc if it was a domestic violence situation and
She was at risk or getting beat or something the cops would know she would’ve said that first on the 911 call too.
I just got further in a video more motive he was gonna leave her ass as he should tbh
And there’s proof she’s pulled a gun on him before just for a fight this time it just so happened that she killed him. Ik you can’t be re trialed for the same crime buttt shiiitt she needs to be cause she probably gonna do it again .
I agree
He was sitting u armed on a bed when shot. All the proof needed right there
They had all the evidence for how many times she would change her story, and evidence that he was just sitting when she killed him. All evidence that she went after him but NOT GUILTY. I really don’t understand the word no enough evidence.
Nailed it. I'm fairly certain she's guilty, but not "beyond a reasonable doubt." Pretty damn close, though.
Man, if you have a man go to his guy friends and tell them all he's being abused, then something serious is going on. Because unfortunately of how masculinity is viewed, many men will hide that.
FACTS
💯
if my son wrote me that note i would cry my eyes out 😭😭 that man was born with a pure heart
She’s guilty. She made him come home, and he was sitting when she shot him. If he abused her, why did she go and make him come home?
Exactly, that was some jury
Sooo pissed at the jurors.
That's an excellent question. Absolutely ridiculous that she got away with this.
Yeah she's the murderer
She could of been pushed to that moment
I genuinely can’t comprehend how people still try to use the “accidental trigger” excuse. This is not the movies nor is it a Hollywood TV series, there’s a pressure value that has to be met for the trigger to pull. Pounds of pressure.
literally!!! guns don’t ever go off for no reason, even if you drop it guns are manufactured to not go off-
Guilty! Can't believe she got away with a clean slate. This is so disturbing
You present your analysis with such a soothing voice. I appreciate that you don't inject "like" into your language. Thank you.
I think it’s bs she didn’t get charged. She shot him. Ended his life. I feel for his family I really do
Agreed. If she was a male she would have been charged and I say this as a female myself. Phil Spector rightfully went to prison despite claiming the shooting was all an accident because it was murder and it didn’t add up. Same should have applied to her.
@@xosecox12 agreed 🙌🏼
Her: “I accidentally just shot my boyfriend in the neck” Jury: Not guilty 😑
Well, the prosecutor asked for a murder case, while Mary said she, 'accidentally' shot him, so that automatically makes it more complicated, combined with the possible abuse and mostly circumstantial evidence.
There wasn't enough evidence to convict her for murder, they should have gone for a manslaughter charge.
An example of today's female privilege. Just because you cry it doesn't mean you're innocent
@@oren1305 The “accident” part of her statement was proven false so that alone should raise suspicion. I think this was premeditated because of her luring him back with a steak dinner. Just my opinion.
@@hep8008 that’s not “female privilege”, that’s her showing off her manipulation skills.
You forgot the part “even though I’ve gone hunting with guns a million times, know more about guns than my now dead boyfriend and work at a gun store handing many customers guns just fine, but yeah I accidentally shot him in a vital organ” 👌
Kendall: But then her story changed
Me: GUILTY

On a more positive note....that doggo in the background is cute AF.

But… it's a cat 🤔 cute though
Edit: nvm, got to the part where it randomly cut and the dog appeared lol
Have you ever heard of a dogo argentino? I use to have one. They're humongous!! It was an ex boyfriend of mine so when he went so did the dog lol

Stephen's friends are real ones. The fact that they testified for him like that is amazing.
In the 911 call, she says she "accidentally shot her boyfriend" and that she is "so sorry." How does one accidentally shoot someone if it's self-defense?
Dont you just hate when that happens to you all the time. I do. It such a drag.
She said "accidentally shot him in the neck"... maybe shooting him in the neck was the accident part.. maybe she was going for his arm
He was sitting down on a bed so I don’t know what she’d be defending herself from

This case is a perfect example of why you need to get out of any toxic relationship while you still can, before it escalates to this
This is totally not related to the case at all, but Kendall your hair looks so pretty in this video. I need to figure out how to get those curls. Now back to the story.
try a big barrel curling iron..... for really tight curls i use a wand... but these curls are pretty loose
I use a curling wand, spray my hair with hairspray, and then brush all the curls out! I think a big barrel curling iron would work well too
I was going to comment the same thing. Her hair looks so dang good in this video.
Curling irons etc fry your hair & make the ends frizzy & damaged. Use heated rollers . Or, put in foam rollers on nearly dry hair & leave for 1hour minimum. Your hairs condition will improve noticeably.
And.... The green top coordinates with the wall color!!! Regarding the case, she's guilty AF!!!!-

They both clearly brought the very worst out of each other x
Agreed. It’s not an excuse to kill someone. However...this level of toxicity leads to tragic and terrible outcomes. The things we say to one another can have devastating results. This Was the culmination. I’m so sad for his family. I don’t think she should have gotten off entirely. There was at the very least a case for manslaughter. I have seen women who have documented cases of savage abuse from their partners, clear cases of self defense and they were still charged with murder and given hefty jail sentences. It’s all terrible. I wish couples could take the hint that HEY! We don’t bring out anything good in each other. Let’s get out of this before someone gets truly hurt....wishful thinking for a more perfect world. Sad.
Absolutely! The neighbors across from me were in one. They attacked each other physically, not in self-defense, and would threaten each other. They are horrifying relationships to witness. There is no side you can take. Two toxic and abusive people fighting for power.
@@KayCeeTX21 unfortunately these kinds of relationships leave both people feeling trapped just not in the same way as one-way abusive relationships. When both are abusive, each one wants to get the last word and have the “power” in the relationship. The anger can turn into complete obsession. It’s scary as hell to witness. My neighbors have come close to killing each other and the police tried so hard but they couldn’t keep them away from each other

I think she’s guilty, she pulled a gun on him a few times, so why would this last time be a “accident”? Yes the gun was messed with at the scene but there was proof that it was loaded after dinner and I’m sure they didn’t use that in the case even though it was messed with but still. And if she tracked him and was acting a psycho that night he died. I’ve seen domestic violence like that, there is no “accident” in domestic violence
“UA-cam doesn’t like them I think it freaks them out a little bit” I died😂

so true! I'm sure the frog loved being walked around the neighbourhood on a leash. They didn't mention it died, which would be highly likely since frogs shouldn't really be over handled.
I love how she expose police mess ups.
At the end of the day, we haven't seen all the evidence because over 60 pages of his text messages were so vulgar they couldn't be released to the public - that is *very* telling. I go back and forth because they *both* seem incredibly toxic, but she does seem like a victim of domestic abuse. I do think she should've at least been charged with manslaughter, but that's only from what we know about this case - which as we've seen, is very little. 🤷🏾♀️ Great video - loved that you put in more pics and video from the case. Your puppy is precious and you look gorgeous! Stay safe everyone.
I think she set him up. I also think she "sent" those messages from his phone so she can have an alibi and say he was abusive. Reminds me of a case where a woman did that.
@@lf9341 they don’t just bring screenshots in the courtroom and believe it’s real evidence. they check with the cell towers, the times, the dates, the locations, etc. they would’ve been able to tell if the texts were sent from her and if they had been deleted or not. Let’s all just get one thing straight. Guns DO NOT just go off. They can NOT spontaneously fire.
This.
I just typed the same thing. So glad someone else pointed this out. I get so sick of hearing stories everywhere claiming a gun "accidentally went off"
My husband is a marine vertan, my grandpa is an army veteran...both with multiple tours of duty. My grandfather shot a hole in his floor while cleaning, and he knows its bc he made a mistake. He didnt treat the gun like it was loaded and pulled the trigger before checking. If you do 3 simple things then a gun CAN NOT "accidentally discharge"
1.treat all weapons as if they were loaded
2.keep your finger off the trigger(unless you ready to shoot)
3.never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to shoot.
Exactly!! And for someone who is suppose to know basic gun safety, she should have been well aware that the gun was loaded and you don’t throw a gun at someone.
True .. but alcohol can delude anyone’s judgment .. especially if she was being abused..
