I admire the fact that the feeders pay close attention and always make sure that Emily is well fed every time they come. She indeed needs the extra food more than most since she is nursing 2 babies , and at the same time alot. Emily has perfected an efficient way on how to carry both babies and has no problem letting them nurse together. Emily's mother certainly did a magnificent job raising her. And it's a privilege to watch Emily raising these 2 beautiful babies. You would never guess she was a 1st time mother. Thank you for these beautiful videos
@FlackinA2 Emily is a 1st time mom, whose is taking care of 2 babies. Not sure if they are both hers, or if she rescued an orphaned baby & raising it as her own with her biological baby.
She is probably wondering when these two will start moving around more and give her a little break, lol. Then will come the challenges of having to keep up with both. Enjoy it while you can Emily, your going to be busy. Lol
I wonder if that truck hit one of them and that's why they're afraid of it as they've never seemed bothered by vehicles? Emily is amazing and must have rich milk to sustain two babies nursing.
It would make sense. I remember that one of the younglings in Bossy troop got hit by a car a few years ago and for a little while the monkeys would be aggressive towards cars of the same color.
Hayes is a tornado....Breeze is a leech/tick 😂... Emily's watching Hayes cuz she wishes Breeze wanted to go play to!!!! Get of the teet for just 30 mins. Why she isnt bone dry on her BREEZE side is beyond me??? I also wonder how Breeze's leg muscles are developing? Seems he doesn't walk much? Not when the cameras on him anyway.
Emily is young, I believe this is her first season. As long as they keep feeding from both sides, the milk will continue to come. Also the feeders are paying extra attention to her this season and are making sure they give her more than they usually would.
I doubt it. Nursing and weaning comes naturally and each mom has their own way of doing things. Amaia from the Parking Lot troop raised 2 babies. One was hers and she raised another one at the same time just like Emily is doing. She started weaning at the same time as she had per previous babies. I think Emily will do the same thing.
No one actually knows because this troop is not followed as much as Skull Heads and Bossy's. The babies are believed to be about a week old. AM nor MC knows which baby Emily had and which one she adopted.
Both babies are well treated and well nourished. Not all babies are the same size. Besides, AM and MC believes the baby girl is a little younger by maybe a week. This could be the reason for her small stature but she isn't going without.
Laura's ranking is between low and middle ranking. Nala won't let him go because he's still to young and she doesn't feel the place safe enough. She's also high ranking. Those seems to hold on to their babies more when they spend time on the road. 🤓🇸🇪

Beautiful to see monkeys how they REALLY are when not tormented by flip flop clad idiots. These videos are a breath of fresh air. I just wish more people could see this is how monkeys really are.
For one she took one from a lower ranking female, another channel says so, and for another Macaques rarely have twins! Not only a rarity in almost all cases in the wild only one twin survive!
The little boy only seems to want to cling to mom and nurse and in so doing he takes up most the room on Emily’s chest and leaves his sister hanging on for dear life.
It will be very interesting to see how Emily navigates them when the infants start growing larger and larger. Breeze is bigger and the dominant "nurser/ suckler" so is under Emily all of the time. It will be interesting to see what role Bambi will play, soon there will be only room for ONE infant at a time between Emily's arms to suckle. And can her milk sustain two infant/juveniles. Not to mention, the weight she will be carrying when both growing infants turn into juveniles will be immense. Much luck to her

as i understand the milk produced by monkey moms is for the particular babe, if bambi is emily's bio babe, her milk produced is for a female. more calcium in female babe milk..possibly why the boy breeze is always nursing, for now enough to partially fill tummy, and fluids...what happens when he grows more?? ameia had bio boy, so milk would be for a male anyway... later breeze may not thrive , growing seems take a lot of nursing, and seems the boys are more aggressive as they grow, the differing hormones...
Probably nothing. Her might turn out to be smaller than the others born the same year for a while but he'll probably catch up. The milk a mother produce for a boy have higher fat in it but overall these monkeys are well fed so there's no extra stress on Emily's body so she has a normal production of milk. 🤓🇸🇪

So will baby boy Hayes the son of high ranking mother Nala I think is her name. Is she the alpha female? Will Hayes be the alpha male some day? I don’t know how that works. How is the big alpha males determined? Many males get kicked out of the troop when they mature? I think that’s correct and they have to find another troop to accept them? I guess this instinctive behaviour eliminates inbreeding?
I don’t know why Emily is watching the higher ranking baby. She has lots to do as it is. Maybe cause Haze is playful And her babies just suck all the time
14:14 I suppose it’s not unusual for people who want to become friends with popular people so it’s not hard to believe something similar is true in the monkey world. I do kind of wonder if Emily is interested in Nala because of her baby or her status. It must be getting difficult to feed two babies. Perhaps being able to chill with popular monkeys, she can eat more freely. In any case she is doing an awesome job.

Right, it's usually difficult for mothers to provide enough milk to sustain two cubs. Hope they grow to be healthy furballs
I am wondering the same thing about that truck. It seems odd how afraid they are of it
