yo thanks for the support on here man! Thats good to know it can translate to the newer ones. I definitely want one of the newer ones, but I think I'm going to master this one for another year before moving on.
thank you for the support! I don't have the bass connected to the 2000XL because it doesn't have a live preview mode while you're sampling in. I guess if you tried to have a metronome running while you recorded that could be one way to get it directly into the 2000XL. But in this case I actually have a Focusrite 18i8 that I'm able to get the bass guitar into input 3. The 2KXL is on inputs 1&2. And my mic is on input 4, so thats how I'm able to pull all of this off by just pressing record in ableton. So to sum it all up, the bass guitar gets its own track in Ableton that I can then sync up when I bring in the stems individually after the beat is finished.

Yo! Thanks so much for using one of my breaks man! Appreciate the shout out!
of course man! amazing breaks!
Drum kit's aiight, tha switch up with tha sample gives that feel if one's ply'n keys & that baseline 🙌🏽🙌🏽
yeah the drums definitely inspired this one from the start. I'm really trying to find a unique style by adding live bass on these kinds of beats.
Loving the process Danny
