@@thebe_stone thats weird because I tested this after watching the video because I knew there was a limit because I've hit it with windbombs and minecart hovercrafts. When I did it I went through the barrier. I'm not sure what could be causing that inconsistency
Technically, there must be an upper limit, since coordinates are stored in variables, which have certain data types, which can display only a maximum value. If there is an overflow, it starts either from the minimum value again (maybe even teleporting link to the lowest point of the world) and/or the game would crash. Might be wrong though
Chances are the coordinates are stored in a floating point number, a data type that doesn't overflow like that. If it gets too big it will be replaced with a "too big to represent" error code style special value. As it approaches that size the magnitude of the number gets bigger and bigger, and the limited precision of floats means smaller adjustments will be cut off completely, so you would lose the ability to move around normally. You would only be able to move in large enough increments and your movement would become choppy. If the renderer doesn't account for these kinds of magnitude differences then the graphics will become incredibly glitchy as rounding errors would bump mesh vertices all over, eventually disappearing entirely due to lack of precision. Either that or the meshes themselves would be bumped around by a lack of precision because the translation/movement portion of the mesh transformation is applied last and each vertex in a mesh should receive the same accumulated error.
but you can at least say it is at least mostly infinate, considering that if the gamecube and N64 can handle hights so high it takes over an hour (or multiple hours) just to free-fall back to the ground, then it is likely unreasonable that limit ever would be reachable with anything other than manually setting the coordinates. Same goes for negative height value, after getting out of bounds, I've let Link freefall into the abyss before I gave up and warped out.
@@kevinconnors2430 Those don't make a very good coordinate type for high performance environments like games. BigInts have inconsistent processing time & memory requirements. About the height limit. I think a faster way up would have been to construct what is known as a "flying machine." It's the contraption that can be made by putting one minecart on top of another and then using the magnesis rune to pick up the bottom one while Link is on top. Getting the balance right can be difficult at first, but once you get it down, you can fly around at a decent clip.
I tried that and it seems to hit a limit much sooner than the moon jump. After you reach a certain height, there is a barrier that causes link to be pushed down, as if a wall was there. Didn't know moon jump bypasses that limit
The best method would be apparatus storage bomb arrows, since you keep exploding with no input needed, I'm not sure it's the fastest but it's entirely afk
It only makes sense that a weapon can't break in an enemies' hands. Whenever you pick up a new weapon from an enemy, whether they used it or not, it's always in sparkling condition in your inventory
Regarding the Spring Hammer, maybe the enemies CAN bounce you away with it if we saw them hit you more than once? Since I'm sure that the bounce happens on the third hit or something, not on the first one.
There’s not a limit for link’s max height but there’s an invisible barrier that items cannot breach. This can be discovered using the minecart stack airship glitch (minecart flying glitch) or whatever you want to call it
So if weapons used by enemies don’t use durability, what if you give it a weapon that’s already used some durability? Does it stay the same once you take it back, or would it reset to its max?
I haven’t seen anyone do the master cycle zero experiment I have done. Using all of the stamina of the horse without waiting for it to replenish isn’t really a good way to show which is faster over longer distances. You scared me into subbing with your description, Gannon is creepy man.
Massive props to starting with the subject of the video instead of teasing it to the middle or the end. That's a dumb cheap trick, instant skip for me. Made me watch the whole thing because I knew you weren't going to waste my time.
Only certain mobs can pick up Bose so your toilet protest needs to be redone also there are several different types of attacks from Bob's so you might want to test the spring-loaded hammer multiple times
That sky limit test was awesome 👌
3:28 they can break but only wooden weapons on fire I think cause I had it happen to me
Has happened to me without fire
There is actually a skybox that you can’t go past moonjump doesn’t work to solve it, a flying machine would work better to try to debunk that myth or you could go to the gerudo highlands at the west most side and try to climb on top. The reason why moonjump doesn’t work is because you are considered grounded at all times.
Video is very funny and enjoyable.Thank you
Mister creepy boy😂
you actually can kill the blupees, i did it once, thinking they couldn't die and only drop rupees so i bullettimed and shot one multiple times
"Luckily I am *GOD*(with the deepest voice you ever heard)"
give the guy credit, he actually put the clip that the video is named after at the BEGINNING of the video instead of after 10 minutes of filler (if even there at all) like most channels do to artificially increase their channels watch hours
Daruk has a perfect parry as well and it makes it so it doesn’t take a use of Daruks protection
The limit is the atmosphere. Even Link needs air.
How did you get the Bow of Light in the normal overworld
0:41 by to seconds you can summon the bike wherever the horse is a pain bike you can fast travel and then summon horse fast travel then either just leave it or summon it at the nearest horse station (I am aware I’m months late)
It's crazy how much land past hyrule is there that they bother to make even if u can never see it. I think they were getting ready for tears of the kingdom cuz u can go so high
Maybe the durability doesnt break normally for enemies, but a wooden spear in an enemy's hand will break after being on fire for a little bit. Just learned that today while doing the trial of the sword.
Hyrule looks like an entire planet. That's awesome.
There's actually a misconception when taming it's not how much stamina you have that decides whether you can or can't tame but how many time you press the sooth button
Oh wie fein, mehr mhyten die ich meiner kleinen Schwester erzählen kann😈
Bomb parry is something I see Zeltik do a LOT.
Dunno why it would be considered a myth.
Ye parrying ur bomb is a way of activating fury rush it's good for speedrunning killing lynels... I think haven't played in 2 years!
You should have kept that jump running for a few days and found the limit for real.
The funny thing about the infinite stamina cheat that you used, is that there is a way to achieve practically infinite stamina in the game through actual gameplay, albeit through a complicated glitch.
whistle sprinting isn't that complicated
