This feels like a lot of fun to do! I have anxiety against splattering ink or colors on any surface! Which is why I still haven't tried abstract ink painting till now. Thanks for the encouragement, watching someone else do it gives you confidence:D
Hello, Hope you are still answering questions, What did you apply to it right before applying the ink?

This painting is Pure abstract, chinese Xuan Paper mounted on canvas , ink black great quality ink, it's not chinese art, but my Slovak European painting my own work not chinese ink painting , as I see here many people are confused, they can't understand what abstract ink painting is meaning, sorry , not my business ;)))
Abstract may look easy but mentally it’s torturous because you’re constantly battling over where to begin and how much to continue The more you care the more difficult it is
Nice work!! it's really hard for me to get that loose, but I am working on it (irony!) What is the clear wet medium that you use on the paper before applying the ink?
What is the reason for painting in water or that clear liquid first?

water on xuan chinese paper, is not same like on western so called paper, water is resistant for ink , when you paint over, so all traces of water can be seeing after dry
Abstract is about unecpect things happening, its fluid, unplanned, but on other side should have a meaning to it...can you explain whats the meaning in it?
Curious and interesting technique. I admit that I know little about Chinese art, so I have to ask if this style, this kind of art, is something that has been around for a while or is it relatively new? Also, is it always done using black ink or does it also involve other colors or a mix of color?

fgutz1970 it's not Chinese but my central European abstract ink painting :)
cada cachetada de tinta sale algo diferente que interesante🤔mmm. probaré esta técnica en mi casa. pero me tendré que ir a un terreno baldío y ahí daré vergasos de tinta. esperando no manchar a nadie😿

water on xuan chinese paper, is not same like on western so called paper, water is resistant for ink , when you paint over, so all traces of water can be seeing after dry
