What type of paper are you using? And what of ink are you using if we were to get this in the United States?

I got a few questions about brushes with white goat/sheep bristles. Can they be used for both sumi ink and chinese marie's colors? But how do you clean the sumi ink? I noticed the white bristles get stined with the black sumi ink? or is it better to have one brush just for color work and another only for black and white works of calligraphy or painting that will only use sumi ink or stick? These brushes are beautiful i would hate to start damaging then and reducing their longevity....Hope you can address my question, thank you in advance OAS family...

Just rinse off your brushes with clear water well, so the base doesn't collect ink. Preferably, do not use too much soap or detergent. The stain will not affect the color in the future. If you prefer, you can use one brush for ink and one brush for color. But usually the ink settles in the base of the brush so make sure you rinse off the base. Too much soap or detergent will hurt the hair, since it is animal hair. - Ling Chi
