- Ride along as we take a scenic drive from Las Vegas to Winnemucca, Nevada. Along the way we'll visit the towns of Beatty, Goldfield and Tonopah.
Early in the journey, I get a nasty surprise! Then we'll watch some old guy feeding pigeons in the desert.

The southwest US desert has it's own unique beauty. I've always enjoyed this scenery.
I always say I want to die out in the desert. The southwest is absolutely beautiful.
We drove that route last year to Reno. It is a beautiful drive, love the old towns that we drove through

@@Myotradventure Already looked at Winnemucca. Gonna look around Pahrump, Alamo, Tonopah.
@@chetmakowski463 Alamo is pretty remote, but from what I've seen from the highway, I like it. Pahrump is only an hour from the Strip, if that's your thing.

VERY cool and informative video!! Wish I had seen it earlier. Did this route North to South. The ION Highway (Idaho, Oregon, Nevada) 95 through Oregon is VERY desolate and nondescript in the most desert life way. Can be nerve wracking for those who need the comfort of regular stops.

Desert bus in real life?
Desert bus? What's that?
I'm curious, because i have never been to other countries outside of Asia where i'm from. And its always been a dream of mine to travel and experience Snow and the Desert for the first time.
My question is, is it Hot driving around there and stepping outside? Is it cold in the night time? Does it Rain? What about Wild Animals?
Just wondering. I'm really curious about the World around me that i have not seen yet. :)
Most of the year, the western states can be quite hot; in and around Las Vegas can get close to 120 degrees Fahrenheit during the hottest part of the summer. Nights don't get that cool except at the higher elevations. During the winter it can get quite cold, even in the desert and especially at night.
I do see a lot of wildlife, which I talk about in some of my videos. If two of the most recent videos I talked about seeing a moose, an eagle, and a herd of elk. Here's a video that features a pronghorn antelope at a truck stop in Wyoming: ua-cam.com/video/V_N_33PQTHs/v-deo.html

Though it will be quite a long time before i even get to see Las Vegas and the Desert area, the way you presented the answer brought me one step closer to reaching it.
It's gonna be a heck of a long time before i reach Vegas because of how far it is from Asia and how long and expensive the trip will be with my family and all. Not to mention the state of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hopefully one day i'll get to see those wild animals in the distance and sweat my face off from the heat haha.
