*god explains holy scripture*
Dogg when I saw this during prelims in the lot it was the most insane thing I've ever seen. It was literally a completely different league than what is here in Colorado. Thank you for this
Please do one of these again for some other licks or anything if really helps explaining what is best to do to push through it. I like these a lot!
Haha now I've got more tips on cleaning the video I did but with the real version now! You're awesome, post more stuff like this please!
I like how you made this *after* I figured out the quad feature by myself. (It took so long 😖😖) oh well, this is going to help
love to see more breakdowns
Beats are sooooo tasty!
A modern Takeda Clan member!
Crazyyyyy
can you break down the blue devils 2017 quad feature
Yes that would be lit
Nice.
Any chance that you’ll break down the part from the trumpet/tenor duet? I’ve attempted to transcribe and learn it before, but watching this opened my eyes to so many things I wasn’t even thinking about.
Thanks for all the great work!
Ms3's... good choice.
Golleee!!!!
Did anybody else say "ugh" during the rest in the beginning
Golleee!!!
Can you do a video on suicides
That lot clip you stuck in there... holy shit... not a single rim
Did you add laminates to the pad? I have the same pad and am wondering what the difference makes
I tried it out a long time ago. I don't recommend, it's not worth the trouble. I thought it may help reduce friction a bit when doing scrapes. But after playing on the pad without laminate I found it works just fine.
So what is the hardest tenor break you’ve ever played
I would say it's between the 2017 BD quad feature and my junior year solo I wrote when I was in high school
Would you recommend this pad? I'm thinking of buying it
Yes! Great chop out pad. For a more realistic feel you may need to add some laminate to it, but the build quality is solid
@@TheQuadMethod Awesome thank you!! I'm either getting this or the Vic Firth Heavyhitter Quadropad Large
Are you gonna buy the new Tenor Kicks from Xymox?
Nope! Happy with the Prologix pad I currently have
What sticks are those???
Could you do some quad warmups?
Any suggestions?
@@TheQuadMethod well. I was in band in high school, and was mainly a snare and timpani guy. Now that I have graduated, tenors or some thing a wish I would have gotten more into sooner. How about some basic stuff like triplet diddle, some Blue Devils stuff, or excersizes for cross overs and figure eights?
You're core
:(
what kind of pad are you using?
Prologix vortex pro! It's an awesome pad 😎
I have a question. Did you help write this show? I thought this because when referring to the purpose of individual parts, you use the word "we".
The members have some input when adjusting the music. Quads typically have more freedom because of the arounds, so with this feature it was a combination of our tech's input and the members' input. It works very well, and allows us to make the book our own. It helps that Sean Vega was a tenor player and understands our need to adjust arounds when need be.
