Hey farming doods! This video came 2 days later than planned due to some extra busy times at work, but I hope it's still in time for some people to reap the benefits of these tips. As always - if you have any questions don't hesitate to let me know in the comments and I or other viewers will get back to you as soon as possible. Two more guides on the way in the coming days: making good money in the first season and how to quickly bond with your love interests, so stay tuned for that! Happy farming
One thing I love about PoOT is how the town is one big open area, no more cutting to different areas like in the last story of seasons game and it's so much easier to find everyone to talk to daily
MIGHT wanna hold off on the sprinklers..once you get to the higher level of field work you get a larger sprinkler that does 5x5 area of coverage and watering will help raise that quicker than just harvesting since you need to water every day it doesn't rain.
Your tip about it not raining much is probably true for most people, but I had a week straight of rain for my first summer. I don't know if this game works off of seeds like Stardew, or if there's randomization involved, but I kept putting my watering can in my main hotbar every night because surely, it'll stop raining tomorrow, this is getting silly.
Very helpful I just got this game and was so confused because it doesn't explain alot and I had no idea how to get tools or what to really do besides some shops and talking and creating better friendships with the people
Thank you so much for all your help and all the tips and tricks! I just started playing yesterday and I'm already addicted to it! It's lots of fun and there's lots of things to do! :)
For some reasons, the townies don’t have walk cycles during cutscenes, so they just slide into place. It’s really jarring. It happened during my wedding too
Not fully sure if you mean the area with the little sprites or all the mining nodes, but: The area with all the little sprites can be unlocked by progressing through the 'story' and expanding your farm. Once you find some of the bigger sprites you will one day receive a cutscene in the morning where you're introduced to that area. The area with all mining nodes is unlocked once you reach mining level 9. The next morning you will receive a cutscene that introduces you to that area. Hope this helps!
Anytime! After finding a certain amount of sprites (by doing farmwork/mining/etc) you unlock the option to trade spirit points for things at the shrine north of town. There you can buy 3 upgrades to your hearts. For the other 2 upgrades you will have to get a high enough score in the mining mini game and the minigame up in the clouds. I kept this a bit vague in case you'd be spoiled btw, but I hope it helps regardless!
The inside of the house pissed me off, all that space on level one but it doesn't let you put anything anywhere except ONE corner. You can't put any items on extra tables just one table and it won't even let me put down the cute chicken rug I got 😠 so lame
LOL that chicken rug... It was the first thing I made too since it was so cute but I had to wait until the house upgrade with the 2nd floor to be able to use it. And even then, there was only enough space on the 2nd floor for it! :(

Yeah those are definitely good changes. I was so happy to be able to see where people were just via the mini-map haha

Glad to hear it was helpful!
"in the summer it won't rain that much" ME: Rains 9 days straight, only stopping for the fireworks festival and then rains three days more
Oh god your poor animals D: That's some weird luck, I've only had rain 2-3 times last summer!
@@Swrinny So far Summer has been the most rainy for me too xD
SAME. just got into Autumn today, first dry day I've seen in a month lmao.
@@ReallyMartha Damn, I wish I could go back in time and change that line haha. I thought the weather conditions would be similar for most players :p
@@Swrinny I had the most rain during the summer out of all the seasons, it rained for over a week in a row!

Thank you so much and glad to hear you're enjoying it! :)
Thank you so much for the help! I am really enjoying SOS it's so addicting 🐻💕
No problem and happy to hear you're enjoying it! :)
I was stupid for waiting till it rains for the water can upgrade, oh boy Stardew Valley hit me hard
Same lol, i thought it was gonna like the older HM game that take few days to upgrade my tool, and why i upgrade my watering can first
Just started playing the game and it's a whole lot of fun. This game just destroys Harvest Moon-One World 😆😆😆
Glad you're enjoying it! :D
Well it is actually Harvest Moon. The development team left and made this series. Harvest Moon is a shell of it's former self.
Thanks for your videos!
For anyone whos into this game - this channel is a must lol
Glad to see you enjoying them! :)
I did not consider the materials for putting in the sell bin. Thx!
I've had wayyy more rain in summer than in spring so far haha. I only have maybe 2-3 days of no rain a week

Great tips. Thanks! 😊 👍
This was extremely helpful⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great video!
Thank you - that's great to hear! :)
Im glad there update on maker that you can stack production up to 10
Yeahh
Great tips !!! Thanks !!! 👍🏻🥀
Helpful video! Thanks
Can someone tell me how I can make mortar ? I have so much clay but not sure how I can process it to mortar
Glad to hear! You can make Mortal through the crafting tab in your menu (the same place where you can create the maker machines). Hope this helps!
1:31 What is that area?? How do you unlock it??

Thanks for the tips 😀 helps a lot!!
Hey may I ask a question, does this game mechanic have auto collect for crops like HM:FOMT using sprites?
No it doesn't sadly. Sprites are still in this game, but they gather items for you outside of your farm. All farmwork needs to be done by yourself
My first spring it literally only rained twice the entire month 🤣
I have a question: If you finished the game can u keep playing or is it game over ? and if you can keep playing can you play endless years ?
Where is that place by a waterfall with all the makers
Thanks for ur tips!
May I know how to get extra heart/stamina? Any vids u can share?

@@mini_mew775 Yup, I actually ended up just putting my trophies on the counter and leaving it at that lol
Thx for cool video!
damn how does the game look so good in your video?
I want to say that I've got a very special Nintendo Switch... but I actually bump up the color saturation of the video a little bit during editing :p
What outfit are you wearing?
I made the black suit that you can unlock via the Boutique. It's near the bottom of the choices (above the fancy coats) :)
0:32 WERE IS THAT??? 😭
Where do I buy my 🪓?????
