    Great videos. I much appreciate rail action in NW Oklahoma because I think it's one of the most scenic parts of state. I've never seen a track warrant before. Very educational. Many thanks for that. Watch the heat.

    LOL I was out that same day in Norman & filmed 2 trains. My weather station said it was the hottest day of the year at 112 degrees. Also u didn't tell me u had a new video out man! Its awesome!

    Did that track have block signals when Rock Island owned it?

      Yes it did! I believe this line was signaled with ABS blocks back in the 70's, but that system was left off in favor of track warrant control in the 80's with the OKT railroad.

      As with most everything else these days, I got my scanner on Amazon. This was the cheapest model available at the time. Check out the Uniden Bearcat series of scanners and see which model fits your needs the best
