Some things i changed to make this build budget and tanky. To sustain mana, I 4 linked Rallying and infernal Cry (dropped Enduring) to lifetap support. I don't like dash since i guardian rush on maps with gaps; so i also 4 link leap slam with life tap, faster attacks, and flammability. For further mana savings, i 6 linked Enlighten (LV 3!!) with one of the Herald Auras and Automation on the staggered warcries (Seismic, Intimidating, Battlemage). I didn't want to lose spell suppression cap from my Rare boots and elemental ailment immunity comboing Stormshroud and 100% chance to avoid being shocked (Boot essence spam, and cap with Exarch Implicit). I've instead changed one of my rings to a Precursor's emblem. Not only are they super cheap to self craft (maybe 10c to vendor recipe your own), but you get 3 endurance charge modifiers. I got the two i wanted, +1 maximum endurance, an additional 15% chance that when i gain endurance charges, I instead gain full charges (bringing the total with the ascendancy to 40%). (also +6% armor per charge) Ideally if you wanted to, it wouldn't be hard at all to buy up a bunch of rings (vendor recipe version) to roll for these two ideal mods; then run a bunch of double corruptions until you get a 2nd max endurance charge corrupt.
Adding this comment to fully review the build. TLDR, Echos is dps bait imo, a regular budget earthshatter build is too squishy without spell suppression and needs better investment to properly do T17s. The endurance charge mechanic on Tectonic Cataclysm is good damage and out performs earthshatter. Also, since Tectonic hits in front of you, off screen even, it certainly does feel better mapping. But i suspect for Echos, Earthshatter is better. So yeah, this build's playstyle is very similar to Earthshatter. As a whole, both skills i suspect feel subpar to LS and Molten Strike (the former best on a Slayer, the later best on Jugg with insane investment); especially if we bring the bar to the stratosphere of Mageblood levels of investment. Which from how i've felt playing this build, for either build to use Echoes of Creation with smooth, tanky gameplay, requires a Mageblood. So to clarify, I did not go for an Echoes of Creation in my setup. My former budget Earthshatter setup at a meager 30 div investment (i'd guess 20 divs i spent on my melee weapon) was good enough to finish my atlas. When i decided to reinvest in this character, i wanted not just damage to clear juiced content far faster, but to tank that juiced content. By committing another 40-50 div (luckily my weapon was more than good enough for the build), I wanted to get damage and more tank in the form of Spell suppression cap and ele ailment immunity (for eater altars) from Stormshroud. Losing out on the T1 life nodes in 3 gear slots would've hurt, on top of losing out on Spell Suppression on the helm. Even with three small cluster jewels giving 20% spell suppression each (25% inc effect, on a 3 passive), I would be 14%-12% short Spell Suppression Cap. So while Ashes of the stars is a great Budget addition to save alot of passive points on warcry speed and cooldown (as well as annointing admonisher), I still think Stranglethorn with 4 Annoints is best in slot (especially if it "bricks" into a rare / mythic orb into another unique). With a mageblood fixing our resistances, these two uniques will let you minmax even further to find life elsewhere(dropping the spell suppression small clusters, fitting in a Meglomaniac, base jewels with increased life, the savings on passive points for life nodes, ect). By doing so, I would say that would be fitting to add in Echoes of Creation, (which would also save 2 jewel slots since we don't need Forbidden Flesh and Flame. But all these min max inclusions are very, well min maxed. I don't know how the damage and tankiness would translate between identical builds incorporating all these elements, between the Tectonic Cataclysm or Earthshatter. Not only would earthshatter be saving on passive notes that give fire pen and phys to fire conversion, earthshatter is more tanky on the idea it keeps endurance charges (which also saves a gem socket on the 6 link, reintroducing Brutality and Fist of War instead of EleDamage with attacks); its also easier to build for leech (since we can go for phys attack leech, not just attack leech because of the fulll conversion); AND you drop Unyielding for the Unrelenting Ascendancy. I can post my PoB so people wondering just what my "budget", tank, non Echo version looks like. It's certainly good enough for T17 and i'm only blocking Cool down reduction and less recovery on T16s.
I started this build migrating from Earthshatter and the damage is so much high. The only problem that I'm facing is the mana pool to cast Tec. Slam and also my life is going down really fast. What I'm doing for now is not activating the aura Automation.
if you struggling with life could use warcry mastery that gives 15% life each time you use warcry helps alot , for mana either could look for enlighten level 4 if budget allows or by getting 2nd ring with -7 mana cost
@datgane I ran into this skill today, as a melee player i always make solid 3-5 del orb gg content farmers but when i saw this skill i got so focused on how to make it work as an igniter, primarily as cheiftain i'd say and i literally just removed my bleed slammer bleed nodes and put them in ignite chance, so did literally nothing and the skill walked all over t17 maps, non-super juiced ones. The problem, however! Turned out with reducing enemies resistances. Idk if this is an ignite issue overall or if only elementalists get an easy solution to this. And maybe the playstyle is not for me. But relying on curses, expisure and combusion felt bad It would be fine if only exposure solved the issue as in elementalists case, but as a non-elementalist it felt like you literally can't rely on exposure and combusion alone they hardly do anything on targets with 50%-90% fire ress. Ans then you are again relying on the curses to proc and apply. Cheiftain ascendency "-20% ress while stationary" seemed like a way to solve the issue, but it also felt like ASS 😂 you want to hit and zoom not hug and wait. So here i am looking for some brainstorming with everyones ideas about it 😂
@@jungroan Could you elaborate on why they are poorly constructed? I see 82% max res, capped chaos, etc. Im not sure why its poorly constructed but would like to know.

tidebreaker is a great weapon for this build imo
I just poe ninja builds and looked at highest dps for build with echoes of creation...This build was it, hes got 83mill dps.
any thoughts about how to improve this build even more?

Why mace? Couldnt i use an axe aswell? Or is there some bonus u get for using a mace i miss?
could use axe aswell no problem usually they just more expensive
How much div do i need to start this build ?
around 3-4 divines for comfortable start
why in the video is he taking a billion damage sometimes? he is going down to like 20% life on some of these hits.
because his character has very poorly constructed defenses and is also too zdps to kill bosses before they hit him back for the next 80 seconds
