I believe over the years Jaguar have overall made the most beautiful cars in history. From their first years until now no automaker has been able to produce such an impressive lineup. To most car enthusiasts Jaguars can’t be mistaken for any thing else from sports cars or the big saloons there’s little doubt….Thats a Jaaag!! 🤗
Why is it that the x type gets called a ford so often? apparently they have 19% of ford in them so there’s a lot of cars out there with more makes mixed in that don’t come under the same scrutiny. A mate had an x type and he really liked it, he’s a good car man and said there wasn’t much ford to it and it was a very smooth and enjoyable drive.
I think its' the Mondeo floor pan, but, as I said to a friend of mine who ridiculed the X-type once; "......everyone loves a fast Ford....." and I think a certain Nigel Mansell drove one in the BTCC back in the day 😜 Nothing wrong with classic Fords or Jags 👍 The new Capri...... well, that's a different story☹

@@TheLRider yes, curious, and not that many vintage Jags either compared to other gatherings that I've been to.........
Any idea the color of that gorgeous SS?
Thought it was the Swallow Sidecar Company ?
Yes! My apologies, you are correct, started in 1922 before moving to car bodies I think
