This JUST happened to me and the voice is the SAME!! We went so far and I told him, "I prefer to call Amazon myself....thanks and have a good day!" 2 minutes later, he called back and said, "the problem is resolved...no need to call support!" He stressed it was all taken care of! Wow!!
You can stop this fake Amazon scam call dead in its tracks by simply saying you have more than one Amazon account, then asking them which account (identified by an email address) they are referring to. They can't answer that because they don't know, so they can't be from Amazon. Oops! Busted!
Glad to see that AmaDon is so good at detecting suspicious transactions. I guess the only question one has to ask why are they ringing up vulnerable little old women and running verbal rings around them? She seems far smarter than them anyway.
Just had one 1 hr ago to verify if I authorized the purchase of a MacBook. I told her I didn't authorize it she asked me to spell my name, they even had my phone number. I started to do so and it dawn to me Amazon wouldn't ask me to spell my name and I told her so. I said I will call Amazon myself just to make sure and she asked if I want her to hang up, I told her yes. When I called Amazon they said it was a scam. The nerve of them, not everyone are idiots.
Just got a call on the landline here today. Didn't ask for anyone by name. Just started talking about a possible fraudulent charge on my account for a $900 phone being shipped to Orlando, Florida. Seriously?
They called me with hidden number some days ago i was driving my car so i pressed 1 waited for the scammer and i asked him to call me later and hang up sadly he didnt i was hoping to get a phone number from them i could report to scam baiters

I got a call from them and asked them what kind of scam are you running and they hang up lol
You can hear the sheer misery of these pathetic souls as they try to pull their scams... that's the part that makes me feel better.
