Shane, can you use the C4 on a carolina rig in the surf? (I have been tying ocean flies for rock cod for 15 years and do not use a fly rod.) Never use a fly in the surf usually bait. In the surf I use light gear 8 pound with 4 pound leader and a 9 to 10 foot crappie stick- almost like a buggie whip. Do you use any other flies for fishing in the surf? The hook is a size 4?

putting gold flasher?? does fish see gold color?? nothing in the sea or the river is gold color. does fish have the same spectrum as human?
can I use this down in Florida for reds and specks?
