I’m Irish American and have been very sad for Ireland. No matter how few followers, I hope a band of faithful will return to Christ and pray to Our Lady for intercession. The Devil goes after the most vulnerable and that which is most sacred. The Devil continues to go after the Church and those who love Holy Mother Church. It is time for Ireland to go back to its roots. Go back to the Church to worship Christ. It’s not about the priests or nuns, or the horrible history. It’s about Christ. Say the Rosary. Ireland will come back to her senses with the Holy Spirit’s help and some willing faithful who say “yes.”
I am Jewish and our religion does not allow assisted dying. God gives life and takes it away. It is not up to us to decide who's life is worthwhile and whos is not.
I am really respectful of the English people. I think they have been badly treated since 1517 AD. When that country got forced into Protestantism was the end of it morally . Catholicism isn’t perfect but it’s not Marxism which is what they have now.
Thank you Katherine. I went to bed last night very down not recognising my own country. Thanks for reminding me that Jesus has already won the victory.
Well done, Kathrine! Truth in the face of madness should be riveting, shocking and powerful. Bravo for speaking with the conviction worthy of the Bride of Christ, His true church.
It's the beginning of the T4 programme, when the Nazis started terminating what they called "life, not worthy of life." The horror stories coming out of Canada should have warned us. This is just the beginning. I was an ICU nurse. I'm glad I am retired.
Eugenics.....paper on several who assimilated into the west post armistice...and schisms...the sheep have become market animals...their souls passed into whatever idol is the rage today
Thank you Katherine for this response to the dreadful decision taken yesterday by our MPs The seeds of this were sown many years ago when the Conservatives gave up protecting the family. The majority of Labour MPs voted for the Bill, the majority of Conservatives voted against but alas there were not enough of them. A strictly utilitarian future lies ahead.
I myself heard the late Cardinal Heenan regretting, in about 1970, that neither he nor the bishops spoke out more loudly against the 1967 Abortion legislation: God forgive the old fool, he said they didn’t want to appear “fuddy-duddy”. That said, I think YOU have spoken out brilliantly against the wicked ambiguity and confusion of MODERNITY: and God bless you!
😔 🙏 Forty years ago I listened to radio program called “focus on the family” … At that time the host was Dr James Dobson, and several times I heard him discuss this issue with guests and they all warned there were people in high places already arguing, way back then, for why we should embrace government assisted dying, the arguments suggested assisted dying would be normalized and eventually it would be expected of those who were no longer contributing to society, with their work and their taxes … how eventually the retired elderly who need help with day to day tasks, and the disabled would feel pressure to kill themselves … Dr Dobson warned of the indicators, including the decline in the number of people practicing the Christian faith, and said, unless there is a mass conversion of hearts to follow Christ, we should expect to see the day would come and it would be accepted throughout the west. Lord have mercy on us all.
Writing from the USA…I was very saddened to hear this news from the UK, as I know it’s only a matter of time before this evil is forced upon America. We must keep steadfast in the faith with our eyes fixed only on Christ. Love your family members and keep them close to your hearts. Praying for a miracle that the third reading of this bill will fail next year. And that your bishops and priests will take the lead in speaking out loudly to denounce this evil and plan and participate in ongoing prayer vigils in the coming months. 🙏
Thank you, Katherine. I am not sure if our MP’s and the pro killing mob have really thought about the hell this will unleash. At 92, my mum needed a hip operation. Because of her age some surgeons were reluctant to do it, raising concerns she might not survive the surgery, or her mind after might be gaga and unable to recover due to the anesthesia. The reality was if she didn’t have the surgery her quality of life would continue to deteriorate and life expectancy drastically shortened. Some of my siblings felt best not to do surgery and let mum enjoy what time she had left, and others felt surgery her only option. I am sure you can imagine the tension, stress and division amongst the siblings. Thankfully killing her was not an option then. If we had that as a possibility in the mix it would have been an unmitigated nightmare causing even more division with all sides claiming their approach was caring and compassionate and correct. If this bill becomes law, the wars that will break out in families will in many cases be irreparable. My mum is 96, yes she had the surgery and did well! Her children rotate and take time staying with her and looking after her. She often comments she is living in a five star hotel, without the cost. Her kids, my siblings, get multiple opportunities to spend time with her and looking after her, has been an incredible gift for us. Of course we all still see her as our mother, but we also see her as a person and through adult eyes. Sure there are wounds from growing up, and if they come up, which they do, there is an opportunity to see them in a new light with a more mature understanding and compassion - knowing we are all human with flaws, including our mum I am doubly blessed, as about 2 years ago I had a major conversion, reversion to my Catholic faith. I have had the good fortune of sharing with my mum a deeper understanding of our faith and drawing her into a relationship with Jesus. She tells me, I have helped her grow in faith and love for God, which is a blessing. I am even more blessed, because I get to see her as my mother, an individual, and a child of God. We are united not only as mother and child, but we are both God’s children. When I am able to see her as a child of God, I see so differently. I see my lack of patience, odd barb, an anger or bitterness welling up from some childhood stuff, etc, and I see them for what they are - poison - lurking, hidden within me, that if unchecked could simmer and simmer till they manifest outwardly in some damaging way. It is really true when Jesus says it is not what you put in, but what comes out is poison. Truth is if we are trying to live the faith, our closest relationships are where, with God’s grace, we can till the land inside us rooting out the weeds so we can flourish. Even if you don’t have faith, none of my siblings do, they think I might have gone bonkers or something, regardless this time they have had with mum has enriched and transformed their relationship, and brought much laughter and joy. Obviously, Satan doesn’t want that!
Wonderful post and put so eloquently. I’m finding that as I get older I am drawn to the traditional faith of my childhood in the 1950s and God has given me these years to get to know Him better. I know He listens attentively to all my prayers, as do Our Lady, St Joseph and the many saints I speak to daily. 🙏🏻
This is so good to read. Thankyou so much for sharing. Your relationship with your Mum sounds like a beautiful blessing. It does appear that dividing families in the terrible way you describe is part of the agenda.
@@julietplatt9763 Agree. Beautiful Post. My mother was at the point of death at the age of 92 and was saved by emergency pacemaker surgery. She fell asleep aged 99 earlier this year, peacefully. She had wanted to die for some time, but I used to explain to her that we are in God's Hands and he knows the right time. I watched as in her last years as dementia took hold and when we talked in her Christian Care Home, I shared that her body was wearing out, and her mind was no longer clear, but that her soul was intact and it would have a renewed mind and body in eternal life. Her faith and trust in God grew in her final years on earth. AS had it been in place when she had the pacemaker could have so easily taken away dying at the time ordained by God. My own prayer as I grow older and grow more frail, while living with cancer that I will trust in myself less and turn yet more fully to God to cross the finishing line of this life to step into Glory. One can see that as we get weaker with age it is about preparing us for what is to come for those who believe and trust in Jesus Christ our Saviour. How sad and terrible that we live in a society that cannot say or pray 'Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven' and trust that our Father knows best in all things.
So sad. I'm from Singapore and the basis of our laws were from the UK. There is a lot of talk about an aging population and the strain it will have on the economy in the near future. I think soon it will be trained on the possibility of assisted suicide to ease the financial burden. The law makers will look to the developed countries as what is "acceptable" especially in a secular state like SG.
Thank you for that Katherine, you echo what my late mother used to say that lots of the clergy were wishy washy and didn’t want to offend people. Just keep things ‘nice’ as the mass attendances fell year by year.

Katherine, how I love to watch this channel. You and the team speak the words we as catholics want to hear. Why oh why aren't we getting this from our priests, bishops, cardinals and our pope. I am 82, one of 9. Our parents tough us and watched over us. Our priests were not wishy washy as so many are today . We had missionary priests visit our churches about once a year reinforcing the teachings in no uncertain manner. We went to mass and Sunday school. I served on the alter.my sisters were in the quoir. My eldest brother was the quoir master. My sisters were also in the Legion of Mary. And that was more or less for lots of families. There used to be long queues for confession. Now, you hardly see anyone go to confession. We have seen such a sisemic shift in the way things have gone down the slippery slope. That alway happens when our leaders no longer lead. It has been deverstating to witness. We really need these uplifting talks. We feel that we are not alone in wanting the truth of our beautiful faith in Jesus Christ. God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mine is far from wight washy, he us a brave, brave man who stands up for Christian values not minding if he upsets more liberal catholics, he has come over from age Anglican church.
Mr. Wouter Bos, a former minister of Finance in my country the Netherlands, who is now the MD of one of our country's largest health insurance companies, named Menzis, is very positive about this DE-/ADL-Y initiative from the UK government as he considers the growing large number of elderly people in my country a huge problem for our healthcare costs and the dutch economy in general. Therefore he proposed to STOP providing healthcare after a certain age, also for people who broke their bones. He said litterally: "Give them a wheelchair and plenty of painkillers or propose to euthanize them if the pain is too much. No more expensive and unnecessary operations......" ............... CAN YOU IMAGINE??????? APPARENTLY HUMANITY COMPLETELY LOST ITS HEART AND SOUL!!!!!.
As a legislature nerd my mind is blown. Private Members Bills never get through. As a Catholic I’m not shocked but I am appalled - and frightened for the disabled
What an excellent talk from a lady with discernment. Along with Bishop Vigano she gives a clearer picture of the betrayal now happening as Satans servant the Pope joins the worshippers of the fallen.
A very forbidding message, Katherine, but one I fully concur with. The passing of the second stage of the (in effect) Euthanasia Bill, practically guarantees it will become law, and I couldn’t help but sense that this was not only the final nail in the coffin of our once overtly Christian civilisation, but a severing of my citizenship for me personally. I look upon the State now as a foe, feeling completely out of step with it on almost everything. A line was crossed yesterday, and I believe all of us now will be, in the eyes of those who govern us, potential future candidates for assisted suicide, because there are so many ways in which we can become a burden to the State, and if we don’t acknowledge it and voluntarily do the ‘right thing’, then someone else will ‘persuade’ us to. Is it time for Lot to leave, I wonder? But where?
I don't think those of us in the States should feel complacent. Unless we are extremely vigilant this will be "coming soon to a theatre " near us also. I have family in the UK and this news was just tragic.
@@mrs.cracker4622 Where have you been??? It did come. Americans rejected it all, including American Catholics in large numbers. The Holy Spirit is shaking up the Church in America, and many have been praying for DJT, his cabinet, and our country. The way that two assassination attempts have been downplayed is astonishing. Goodbye, Corporate/Legacy Media!
Thank you. Very impressive. And oh so true. Soon, as far as I can judge, Ireland will follow you in approving “ assisted” dying. How we have fallen here in the Emerald Isle. Fear not, Jesus our King warned us that we would suffer persecution. Mass, Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, repeat often. The Lamb has already won, so in the end Mary’s Immaculate heart will Triumph.
Thank you for your courageous speech. My mp is totally in favour of abortion up to any age and for any reason, and voted happily in favour of assisted dying....suicide. Both are against the fifth commandment of God...thou shalt not kill. If you approve of the other translation of this commandment...thou shalt do no murder, then you see how the guilt of those in favour is increased for no matter how one tries to defend abortion and assisted suicide they are both murder. It is as if evil is saying, "if i cant stop you being born in the first place, then I'll kill you before your time; both being under the auspices of "my body, my choice." As for catholics who misguidedly get involved with this assistad dying, how do they get the last rites, or absolution? Are the bishops going to come out with guidelines for this and requiem Masses for those who avail of this suicide? A can of worms has been blown wide open with this vote and the problems have yet to begin to emerge.
Is it purely a co-incidence that Welby was out of the picture when this came up? The expected voice of the Established Church was not called on for a moral position on suicicide, thus sparing the discomforture of the guilty aye voters? What 'good' timing the hidden-handers have!
There are still 2 possibilities that the Assisted Dying Bill will not become law. We need to find out what your MP voted at the second reading. If they voted in favour, write to them to try to persuade them to change their mind at the third reading,, a few may do if they get enough letters, and if your MP abstained or was absent the write to persuade them to vote against the bill. Their is also the chance that the House of Lords will stop the Bill.
I have not read this yet. However, I am concerned at the "laizey faire" attitude of arrogant Politicians, who stupidly think that they are "ending" a person's suffering . Just how do they know are they acquainted with the Divine??? I thank God sincerely for ever breath from comception to (hopefully) natural death in my return to Him. Thank you and may God Bless, Love and Protect us all.❤ "Please think again!"
I am old enough to recall the many assurances made when the abortion law was being considered. There were going to be strict guidelines which would be followed in all cases so that it would be offered only in extreme cases etc. etc. Within a very short time it was offered 'on demand' and everyone knew it. It will be the same slippery slope this time. If an adult cannot be expected to bear a difficult and painful illness then surely children should be spared the same thing. That's next.
An excellent summing up of what we are up against and what is really going on. All the MPs who voted for, are going to Hell, so I will spend some time praying for their conversion. I looked into assisted suicide in the US and it is still against the law and not even discussed in most states but not all. The ones that have it are no surprise to me. I can't believe that ordinary working people in Britain agree with any of this. I am crying for my own country but I'm glad I don't live there.
Venturing into crypto as a newbie was very difficult due to lack of experience which resulted in loosing funds..... But Brisa Richardson, restored hope shes a good woman
If the assisted suicide bill is passed, one can be sure that the hospitals will ‘expect’ elderly people, disabled people, etc. to take that path, making out that it is a wonderful and pleasant experience!

The only way God brings ,,good,, is through contrition and repentance and that seems to have gone out of fashion, as it's become a taboo to point fingers for fear of reprisals. You now get locked up for praying, silently, as that means you are figuratively speaking, pointing the finger or. Apparently asking to be cancelled. Priests are becoming redundant due to professional overlap, since the churches have gone Woke. I don't understand how they justify their charges, of schism, when they, themselves, are playing so loose and fast with the tenets of the faith and people are leaving in droves. It seems they still have plenty of reason not to wriggle out of the transparency of their denial, that they have tried to mask, as if they can still convince themselves, in their boldness and baseness that no one has seen, or is seeing what they have become, or are doing, and that they are just being unjustly persecuted victims, even if no one comes to do so, by way of the confessional, or at least not without a clear conscience, to clear their conscience of the mockery they feel, at stepping into the confessional, since the priests are making a mockery of it, themselves. They may have worked themselves out of a job ahead of the end times and the second coming. However, applying yet another layer of Synodal shellac may prove the final, fatal dissolution, and the soul of the church will be released from the death grip of this weird woke heresy., and a new church will be born, that is, if you believe in the possibility that good comes to fruition, even through or because of good things coming from bad, by the will of God.

Thanks so much Katherine. God bless you, Gavin and Mark. Fr. Frank
What a wonderful monologue to chance upon, very grateful to you. God Bless you. Praise The Lord for He is Great. Amen. 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for your thoughts Katherine, much appreciated.
Are we awake now🕊
You fought with courage. Very few can do it. May God bless you abundantly 🎉
No more expensive and unnecessary operations......"
...............
CAN YOU IMAGINE???????
APPARENTLY HUMANITY COMPLETELY LOST ITS HEART AND SOUL!!!!!.
Thank you, that was shocking and beautiful.
We need to hear more of and from Katherine Bennett. Thank you
Thank you Katherine for this prophetic call ‘amidst the encircling gloom’. Viva Cristo Rey. 👑
Thank you, as always for your clear thinking on troubling matters.
A very insightful speech on our evil leaders
Thank you; this is a great summary of how things stand, warmest regards, Karen in Cambridge
They’re calling it ‘assisted suicide’ because GENOCIDE is such an ugly word.
Or they could just call a spade a spade and say it's democide
Suicide is self-murder. Assisted suicide is murder.
The story of Noah is the story of the largest genocide ever.
God didn't care for the children and babies that he drowned.
It's murder 🙄🧐😡
Yes it's murder another way to genocide the people. Christ conscious is within us all
Thank you, Kathrine 🙏
Thank you, Katherine.
Well said Katherine, and thank you.
But where?
Ditto, feel same way about government, in Canada.
Look at your neighbour Canada 😥😥😥
Keep those words safe Katherine so future generations will understand.
Dr Campbell has a great video this morning on the UK bill. Worth watching.
These are very, very dangerous times for human beings.
Attend reconciliation, receive Holy Communion, pray the rosary 📿
Thank you for your courageous speech. My mp is totally in favour of abortion up to any age and for any reason, and voted happily in favour of assisted dying....suicide.
Both are against the fifth commandment of God...thou shalt not kill. If you approve of the other translation of this commandment...thou shalt do no murder, then you see how the guilt of those in favour is increased for no matter how one tries to defend abortion and assisted suicide they are both murder. It is as if evil is saying, "if i cant stop you being born in the first place, then I'll kill you before your time; both being under the auspices of "my body, my choice."
As for catholics who misguidedly get involved with this assistad dying, how do they get the last rites, or absolution? Are the bishops going to come out with guidelines for this and requiem Masses for those who avail of this suicide? A can of worms has been blown wide open with this vote and the problems have yet to begin to emerge.
Is it purely a co-incidence that Welby was out of the picture when this came up? The expected voice of the Established Church was not called on for a moral position on suicicide, thus sparing the discomforture of the guilty aye voters? What 'good' timing the hidden-handers have!
So they get rid of old people
An absolutely stunning reflection. Sadly those who need to hear and heed it most are the very ones who will reject it.
Amen! Outstanding diagnosis.
God bless you. Commentary like this is sadly rare today.
Thank you Katherine....🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great. Thank you. The good fight continues, as always and forever.
Horrible aberrations!
The desolation of Abomination!!!
Brilliant 🙏👏
Powerful. Thank you 🙏🏻 Katherine.
Pray the Holy Rosary daily, with the whole family if possible. Oremus!
Thank you and may God Bless, Love and Protect us all.❤
"Please think again!"
Katrine absolutely bang on the nail, every word. Fabulous and thank you .
So eloquent!
The demon of sacrifice to Satan.
A correct view.
Well done Catherine❤
Very poignant. Thank you Katherine.
Wow. You did a great Job...
IF it goes the way Maid as in Canada, then it's to bring costs down for the NHS and organ harvesting just to mention two things
Excellent commentary!
Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in March 2024
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Yeah, since meeting expert Brisa, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit high, with less risk.❤❤
Venturing into crypto as a newbie was very difficult due to lack of experience which resulted in loosing funds..... But Brisa Richardson, restored hope shes a good woman
I will advise you stop trading on your own if you keep losing. And i don't trade on my own anymore, I always required help and assistance
Yeah, since meeting expert Brisa, I now agree that with an expert managing your portfolio, the rate of profit high, with less risk.❤❤
If the assisted suicide bill is passed, one can be sure that the hospitals will ‘expect’ elderly people, disabled people, etc. to take that path, making out that it is a wonderful and pleasant experience!
They have already been doing it. Letting people go and putting them on end of life without family permission over easily treated things. K
Thanks for the information. 😇
Excellent.
It's consensual murder!
This once great Christian nation has been under Gods wrath for a number of years. It’s going to get worse unless the nation repents and turns back
“Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.” St. Francis of Assisi
Well said…Christ is on the throne! … though the darkness is great! He is the Light of the World and the darkness cannot overtake Him. Lord, shine your light through those of us who know You and open the eyes of the blind. Lord help us!!
A sad day in Britain…. from 🇨🇦, where the euthanasia laws are the most liberal in the world. 😞
Money and a Godless love of it that is what is behind it.
The Catholic Bank is a dodgy institution.
As a Roman Catholic,I was against the Bill.We all have a Freewill, including MP’s.Our Lord Jesus is Almighty
and Powerful. He knows everything. He knew the Bill would be passed. It is the same in a Conclave to Elect
a Pope.He knows who will be the next Pope.
Canada is in lead in this
Yes.
Agree totally.
Most important to understand intellectually and accept emotionally, is that it will get worse.
Until it gets better.
Magnificent-thank you.
Points subtly made and taken in that spirit, but let's never forget that God brings good out of dark situations, whether we understand it or not.
Modernism-- feelings, not rules.
Chronic regional pain syndrome. If something were to unusually cause something, like that, that would drive people to want these things. Then comes succour to such wishes.. First they'll have you beg for it.
Killing is evil & against all God tells us
Just what does the mp's know about such a delicate situation as suicide
Superb commentary ❤
I tell you naught for your comfort,
Yea, naught for your desire,
Save that the sky grows darker yet
And the sea rises higher.
Those wreaking these evils will look aghast at the destruction they have wrought, when it is too late to amend it in the secular world.
