MJ was not KB's teacher. KB was a self-motivator. He may have found inspiration from MJ and maybe even sought his advice. But it was never a teacher-student relationship.

MJ doesn’t appear in public easily, any interview of his are rare let alone a speech and the only time he would let public cry after his retirement is the his hall of fame speech. So to give a speech and cry while all the camera on him, that tell you how much kobe means to MJ.

Could you imagine having such an impact on so many randoms? I was just telling a buddy I don't think I've ever seen such a response after a famous person's death than Kobe's. Rightfully so, it's just a huge reality check thinking about maybe my own funeral and having like 40 people there. He lived a great life and did great things. RIP.

Kobe truly was a man who chased after his dreams. He did everything he possible dreamed he could. He was relentless and his hard work showed through his achievements. Hes truly is a legend not only to basketball but as a human in general. I am not even a lakers fan or a Kobe fan, but damn he truly was special.

@@copyrightstrikez_bandit143 Jacksons death had some impact but we saw that coming, we didnt see this coming. In this fashion, i think that is the main reason why there is a huge impact and its lasted longer than Jackson

Michael Jordan once loved his good friend, Charles Barkley. No one knows how much time we have left. I hope Michael can find it in his heart to call Charles, apologize for anything he did to hurt him, not expect and apology back from Charles, and yet mend the friendship as if nothing ever happened.

To see the goat emotional like this speaks volumes of what Kobe meant to Jordan.

could you imagine filling the shoes of your idol. then your idol sharing his innermost feelings at your memorial. FATHERS ALWAYS MATTER JUST LIKE MOTHERS

Aubrey, I'm wondering why'd you say the last part "fathers always matter just like mothers"?. I don't intend to say the opposite because I do agree with you in that part. But MJ said Kobe was like a little brother to him. Kobe, said in a talk show that MJ was like a big brother to him. With that being said, again, why'd you say the last part "fathers always matter just like mothers"?. Thank you.

Internet must retire the old crying Jordan meme. Replace it with happy crying Jordan meme. Use the new meme for winning not losing.
