I am not sure what it was... I bought it online direct from China, and then had the electrics refitted from the certified Electrician to the UK standard. It was only about =$300 for the unit.
Hi 👋🏼 Many factors go into it, for example: it depends on what comparable items in your local area are selling for; your pre existing menu prices; if your brand is "mom & pop" vs. "premium"; etc.
Make sure your waffle maker is on and already heated up. Once you pour on the batter and spread it out - set two timers: Timer 1: 3:30 Timer 2: 1:30 Turn it over. Hit start. When Timer 2 goes off, turn in back over to the original position. When Timer 1 goes off, open it up. You can optionally turn off the machine if you want to save money and don't have any more waffles to make. Hope this helps!
Hi Ms Kristin, Im form PH and wanted to start this biz, I just don't know where to check or if you already told in the video the time of cooking for each side?
Hello Regina, Thanks for your comment. Hello PH 👏🏼 So, in Part 1 of the bubble waffle video set, I explain the recipe and show you how to make it. Part 2, this video, I show you and explain how to cook the recipe. This video will show you times and settings, but remember each machine will be slightly different. You'll need to change things slightly to figure out how your machine will cook best. When you watch, feel free to turn on the CC (closed captioning), and also have a notebook and a pen to make notes. This will help to remember more easily when trying to recreate the recipe and cooking process later. Please let me know if you have any more questions 🤩
Hello Kristin! I'm going to start a small business of bubble waffle and donuts and i really want to do good. i really enjoyed your recipe but didn't quite get it what is the custard role. also can i use cornstarch as it is very difficult to find tapioca flour in Angola?
Hi. Wow! All the best to you!👏🏼 For the first question: The custard powder is good because it makes it creamier without adding more liquid. Custard is a very unique flavor in general... You could omit that amount, which is quite small, or simply put in something like dried milk powder instead, which would be advisable. Here's what I found online for your second question: "They're quite similar. The main difference in tapioca flour and cornstarch is how they are sourced. As you might have guessed, cornstarch is sourced from corn, whereas tapioca flour comes from the root of the cassava plant." Hope that helps!
Hi Mike, If you've got an ongoing turn-over of customers every minute or two, then yes... just like a burger place you can start the waffle, and have it cool for 1-minute while the customers are constantly placing their orders while putting on the toppings at that point, etc... But I would highly suggest not allowing the waffles to cool for more than a minute before adding toppings, because they will become either soggy or stiff tasting, depending on the weather. If customers are not ordering every minute, I would only suggest each waffle being made to order so it's as fresh as possible and best tasting. Hope this makes sense. 👍🏼
Hi Kristin, I'm using the same waffle maker but sometimes my waffle sticks to the grill & tear when im trying to pull it off. I use a wooden popsicle stick as well since it does help but sometimes it sticks. Could it be the batter being to thick/ thin?
Hi Pinnacle! Do you thoroughly apply oil to the top and bottom of the machine before putting on the batter? I would experiment with different types of oils as well.
Hi! I never bought any particular brand, as I don't recall there being a famous reputable company for these machines. I did a simple Google search to find a company locally that sold what I was looking for at a good price. (non-stick coating, easy & safe to use, etc) The machines will need to be re-fitted for your shop anyways, or atleast your electrical outlet plug probably... so just focus on good price for a company which has good reviews.

@@stoyanstoyanov2236 Batter for a bubble waffle machine is different than a regular waffle machine. If you're doing savory waffle, probably go for a pre-made batter powder. Hi Mariela, I don't know much about the actual machines themselves. Personally I would contact the company you purchased them from for assistance or a refund. Alternatively start purchasing your machines from a different company; either a cheap one that you can throw them away or get them repaired when they're breaking, or a company which will offer you a return/refund/or repair. For a daily clean, we used the wooden stick and wet cloth. For weekly cleaning, you'll need to consult the manual. (Some can be cleaned with baking soda, vinegar and water mix, but others cannot.) Hope that helps.

Hello, Have you been able to watch Part 1? The pink to that video is in the description 😇 Having the perfect batter recipe will definitely help you solve these issues 😊
I have been trying to find a recipe that is similar to the bubble waffles I used to get at the Chinese Night Market in our town. I have tried many that are similar to waffles. But the bubble waffles I used to get were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Not fluffy, or pancake like...actually chewy. Not even sure what to liken it to. Is yours fluffy or is it chewy? Thank you 😊 💓
Here is Part 1: ua-cam.com/video/6sSuo2wdsHU/v-deo.html I would suggest making a small batch and giving it a try! Part of it will have to do with the recipe, but the other part of it will have to do with how you cook it. So between my two videos I'm sure you'll be able to get excellent results. 😁 My recipe and technique will yield Hong Kong style bubble waffles, so I'm not sure what sort they were serving at the market you went to. 😏
Oh dear! 😂 I take it all the non-stick has worn off of it then? 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ If this is happening, just wanna make sure first that you're using a good amount of oil on both the top and bottom before putting the waffle mixture on it?
Hi kristi... This Mrs.Arunraj..Your bubble waffle is looking delicious.... Can you clarify me this same recipe can be used for belgian waffles otherwise it is especially for bubble waffles... Love from India🇮🇳
Hello 👋🏼 Happy to help. You can use this recipe for anything really, as long as it's cooked through. But many Belgian Waffle places use a powder mix because it's cheaper... So if you're able to get that instead, you might have a higher profit margin...
I am trying to introduce bubble waffle to my business. I have bought the ready mix Belgium waffle mix from a supplier which most the dessert shops use for the Belgium waffle but my waffle don’t cook inside no matter how long I cook it for or at what temperature, it’s always uncooked inside. The park cake mix do work better but still little uncooked. The waffle maker is commercial grade and new so the plate is fine. What is the reason for this? Any tips for me? @bubble Kristy
I never personally worked with powder Belgium waffle mix, so I don't know what sort of machine It needs. However usually Belgian waffles are very thin in their waffle maker, with only a small amount of doughy middle section. Where the bubble waffle has big balls of doughy sections. So actually perhaps that waffle mix will not work very well with a bubble waffle maker... I also have 'part one' of this video where I share with you the recipe I used in my shops, if you want to take a look at that and consider making it from scratch instead...?

Hi Kristin, I’m working on opening my own bubble waffle ice cream shop. I’m getting paperwork done and practicing how to make the perfect bubble waffle. Luckily I found your videos about how to make it (I subscribed your channel immediately too ^^) because I love your recipe much more than the recipe that comes with the machine manual book. Stupid question, how come my bubble waffles don’t have any smell at all while I cook it? My family told me that it will be so good if the store would be full of waffle smell. Also, I’ve been practicing without a fan, is it why my bubble waffles are not as crispy as yours? Your videos are very informative and I like the way you explain safety tips inside a store. Thank you very much ❤️
@Steven & @Quan - the bubble waffle recipe for this video is in part 1 which can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/6sSuo2wdsHU/v-deo.html Congrats Quan on your achievement so far!!! 👏🏼 If you're looking to get an 'egg' smell, I would recommend Free Range and/or Organic eggs. With my waffle recipe, including these special eggs, the shop always would smell like heaven! From my personal experience, some sort of fan is necessary at the end of cooking, before you put toppings on it. This makes it crispy and stops the cooking process. Thanks for the comments - hope that helps 😁
Hi Kristin, I have tried multiple times to make bubble waffles and everytime i make them, they are not crispy from the outside and do not have a smooth look. I am unsure on where i am going wrong. @@bigfur3774 ok great! Now, in video two, what temperature are you setting your machine at? Are you making sure it is at the same temperature? Also, is your machine non-stick?
Is your set for Celsius or Fahrenheit? 😂 (It should be at 160 Celsius) Next - are you blasting it with cold air when it comes out!? 🌟 (And hanging it over something like I've got in the video for even air distribution?)
Hi Ratna, My suggestion would be: when you pour the mix into your measuring jug, you mix about a half or full tablespoon of whatever you want to be mixed into your batter. Stir it up real quick and then simply pour it onto the machine. This is great for things like sprinkles, chocolate powder, and matcha powder. But if you have larger items like mochi or if you want larger Oreo chunks, then put half of the batter on the machine first, then put the topping evenly distributed on the waffle maker, then pour the rest of the waffle on top and smooth it out. Hope that helps 😃

I am not sure what it was... I bought it online direct from China, and then had the electrics refitted from the certified Electrician to the UK standard. It was only about

Hi 👋🏼 Many factors go into it, for example: it depends on what comparable items in your local area are selling for; your pre existing menu prices; if your brand is "mom & pop" vs. "premium"; etc.
@@BubbleTeaKristin thank you!
@@bellablisslife5785 you're welcome 😍
what type of comercial machine are you using please ?
Just one I bought off eBay. Non-stick. 👍🏼
hi, i don't get exactly the timing on each side. is it 1.30mins on each side? and how many minutes to wait before pouring when setting it to 160C
Make sure your waffle maker is on and already heated up.
Once you pour on the batter and spread it out - set two timers:
Timer 1: 3:30
Timer 2: 1:30
Turn it over.
Hit start.
When Timer 2 goes off, turn in back over to the original position.
When Timer 1 goes off, open it up.
You can optionally turn off the machine if you want to save money and don't have any more waffles to make.
Hope this helps!
Looks delicious ! stay connected 🥰
Thank you, I will
Hi Ms Kristin, Im form PH and wanted to start this biz, I just don't know where to check or if you already told in the video the time of cooking for each side?
Hello Regina,
Thanks for your comment. Hello PH 👏🏼
So, in Part 1 of the bubble waffle video set, I explain the recipe and show you how to make it.
Hi. Wow! All the best to you!👏🏼
For the first question:
The custard powder is good because it makes it creamier without adding more liquid. Custard is a very unique flavor in general... You could omit that amount, which is quite small, or simply put in something like dried milk powder instead, which would be advisable.
Here's what I found online for your second question:
"They're quite similar. The main difference in tapioca flour and cornstarch is how they are sourced. As you might have guessed, cornstarch is sourced from corn, whereas tapioca flour comes from the root of the cassava plant."
Hope that helps!
Thank you very much for your quickly reply. I’ll definitely keep that in mind.
Cheers x from Angola
And all the best to you as well !
Love it..
yay! 😍
Can you make some and get it ready for the customer when they come in or it is not a good idea
Hi Mike,
If you've got an ongoing turn-over of customers every minute or two, then yes... just like a burger place you can start the waffle, and have it cool for 1-minute while the customers are constantly placing their orders while putting on the toppings at that point, etc...

Can I ask where u got ur bubble waffle maker?
Hi!
I never bought any particular brand, as I don't recall there being a famous reputable company for these machines.
I did a simple Google search to find a company locally that sold what I was looking for at a good price. (non-stick coating, easy & safe to use, etc)
The machines will need to be re-fitted for your shop anyways, or atleast your electrical outlet plug probably... so just focus on good price for a company which has good reviews.

Hei Kristin. Thanks at you are sharing your experience with us👏🙌 Wondering if you have recipe for salty waffles🤔 have you ever had clients asking for?

@@stoyanstoyanov2236 Batter for a bubble waffle machine is different than a regular waffle machine.
If you're doing savory waffle, probably go for a pre-made batter powder.
The flavor of the meat will be so strong, the flavor of the waffle batter doesn't need to shine though. 👍🏼
Bubble waffle batter is a stand alone product, specifically for bubble waffle machine.
So maybe best to look into alternative inexpensive batter option for your savory type.

Can you please show us how to properly take care and clean the machine? The ones at our shop keep breaking after some time and we can't figure out what is wrong ...Thanks
Hi Mariela,
I don't know much about the actual machines themselves.
(Some can be cleaned with baking soda, vinegar and water mix, but others cannot.)
Hope that helps.

The pink to that video is in the description 😇
Having the perfect batter recipe will definitely help you solve these issues 😊
I have been trying to find a recipe that is similar to the bubble waffles I used to get at the Chinese Night Market in our town. I have tried many that are similar to waffles. But the bubble waffles I used to get were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Not fluffy, or pancake like...actually chewy. Not even sure what to liken it to. Is yours fluffy or is it chewy? Thank you 😊 💓

Part of it will have to do with the recipe, but the other part of it will have to do with how you cook it. So between my two videos I'm sure you'll be able to get excellent results. 😁
My recipe and technique will yield Hong Kong style bubble waffles, so I'm not sure what sort they were serving at the market you went to. 😏

Hi kristi... This Mrs.Arunraj..Your bubble waffle is looking delicious.... Can you clarify me this same recipe can be used for belgian waffles otherwise it is especially for bubble waffles... Love from India🇮🇳
Hello 👋🏼
Happy to help.
You can use this recipe for anything really, as long as it's cooked through.
But many Belgian Waffle places use a powder mix because it's cheaper... So if you're able to get that instead, you might have a higher profit margin...
Thank you so much kristi... For your responsible comment...💕

@@BubbleTeaKristin it's brand new and yes nonstick. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong 😭😭. Could it be that I need 1 more egg?
@@hannah23173 so weird. How does the actual cooked product look? Burnt or undercooked?

Hi Kristin,
I’m working on opening my own bubble waffle ice cream shop.

Congrats Quan on your achievement so far!!! 👏🏼
If you're looking to get an 'egg' smell, I would recommend Free Range and/or Organic eggs. With my waffle recipe, including these special eggs, the shop always would smell like heaven!
From my personal experience, some sort of fan is necessary at the end of cooking, before you put toppings on it. This makes it crispy and stops the cooking process.
Thanks for the comments - hope that helps 😁

How to make vary the flavour of Chocolate, Matcha and Red Velvet, what needs to be done
Hi Ratna,
My suggestion would be: when you pour the mix into your measuring jug, you mix about a half or full tablespoon of whatever you want to be mixed into your batter.
Tq you for you support
