- Today we are making BOBA EGG WAFFLES at home! I found this recipe from Tasty, and it looked easy enough for me to try to make homemade bubble waffles. egg waffles are the best. theres lots of shops in hong kong with tons of flavours like taro, matcha, red beans, chocolate, etc and its SOOO good. if any of yall are coming to hong kong, please do try egg waffles and also egg tarts and hong kong milk tea. they are icons and you should def try

Ive had egg waffles before, but they are called puffy waffles where I'm from and let me tell you.... it's so amazing. It can come with ice cream, candy, sprinkles, fruit, and even more. I really suggest trying it if you ever get the chance!

That's great you learned how to use a double boiler. It definitely is a learning curve for sure, but you did a great job. We bet the vanilla extract added a nice hint of flavor into the waffle. We love our waffle iron and the same thing happens to us. Leakage out the sides when cooking and the flip is the most stressful for sure.. But after that, it's smooth sailing!! LOL We bet your mom was so stoked when she saw you ordered this special waffle iron!
It's supposed to cook and make noise lol!! It looks so yumss!! Round two is definitely a success! Like the Hongkong eggette, but with boba. Love the tasting review with you and your mom in it. Looks so yums!!!

Hey Meimei, try mixing the ingredients in the bowl and THEN putting them on the boiling pot. You will get better results.
As a video idea, make a bunch of food and bring it to the homeless community in your area. I'm sure they'd be very grateful! Just make sure you have someone with you... Just in case. If you are willing to help out on a plane ride over I'd be happy to help cook and be a cameraman/hired help if you need it. Maybe a philanthropic endeavor would help grow your channel, it works for a lot of other UA-camrs. PS I'm a chef in NY.

That sounds like a great idea! But I'm currently staying home as much as possible (I haven't dined out at a restaurant since March) and I haven't even been seeing some family (that I don't live with) or friends.

I haven't left NY since the pandemic started and don't plan to until after a safe vaccine is released. I hear you though on not being able to see family. All mine are down in the southerneast side of the US, and I'd have to quarantine for 2 weeks before I could go back to work. Times are crazy, but at least I have your vids to look forward to! Cheers!
