This is wonderful!!! I have had my 770 for years and am always frozen when it comes to embroidery. Now I have this for step by step. THANK YOU 🎉
Absolutely wonderful demo …. I’m humming and harring what model Bernina embroidery machine to upgrade my Bernina 730 artista ….so this so helpful..thank you …looking forward to the coming tutorials.💐
Going from a 730 Artista I would recommend the 790 or 880. But if you can’t go up to that size the 590 is awesome as well
@@BERNINAofNaperville thank you .. the more bells and whistles the better 👏👏👏😂 shame I live in NZ I would buy of you 😃
Great video Gayle!
Your teaching style is so very understandable and informative. Thank You so much for great content ❤
Thank you for the wonderful demo. I would love to have a 735 for the 5.5 mm stitch width and pinpoint placement as a replacement for my 830E. Wish I lived closer so I could visit your shop!
Wow! So informative- you have really cleared up a lot of my questions, thank you.
You explained the embroidery so well. Thanks
Hello Gail. Do you have a copy of the Bernina 830 machine embroidery workbook ? I have the manual which came with machine. I looked on Bernina USA retired machine workbook but it has reference to other berninas and seems confusing to read easily. Thank you.
We offer these free on our website. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0265/8985/5837/files/830_Older_7_5_Series_Deco_340_Chig_7_Embroidery.pdf?v=1623904895
Good morning. I have been using this as a bible for the last few days. It has helped me immensely. However how do I resize the design? I am able to do it on the computer but it does not save to the machine? What am I doing wrong?
If you are using the software. You have to “send the design to a stick” it’s called write to machine. Watch the video for design transfer here:
It’s v nice and informative do share your videos soon 👍🏻
Thanks for the video! I learned lots!
Great teacher! Thanks!
Well how is the ole married woman by now? I see you’re hard at work again. Enjoyed your demo. It took me forever to find that little fork looking thing under the bobbin area where the thread goes for sewing. Could never find it cause everything is so black underneath. I finally, just a couple weeks ago, saw a video showing exactly where it is sitting. I did get it threaded once correctly. When I have gone to do it again, I’m having the hardest time getting the thread to go where it’s supposed to. Doesn’t matter if I pull the thread out to the left a mile or straight up, just can’t seem to get it right, so very frustrating when all I want to do is sit and sew. Any suggestions to make it a little easier?? Have not had fun with this machine!!
Are you actually commenting for help in an 8 series machine? We recommend you visit your local BERNINA dealer for help and possibly classes for proper threading.

Thanks. I thought you might have come across someone else who might have had a problem and given a little advise. I thought you might save me a 100 mile drive!
@@florence775 there was an updated part that was supposed to be changed out on the older 830s. I’m pretty sure the new part will fix this issue (assuming it is not use error). With that said, this is not something that will be resolved by a UA-cam comment. You must bring it to your local BERNINA dealer for sales and service.
Thank you so much for these educational videos. I cannot always get to my Bernina store to assist me in learning.
