I wish to commend the effort of the minister of interior Mr olubunmi Tunji ojo. I reside in UK and I got my international passport by post the following day I had my biometric taken. My daughter's passport got back exactly 2 weeks .

Honorable Minister Sir, everything that your ministry is doing to ease and fasten the issuance of international passports has not been replicated in Canada at all. The earliest appointment date in Canada is a minimum of 6 months.
In Spain here if you apply for new passport or renewal, all you need to do is to go online book an appointment in 2 or 3day time. If you walk into their they will just capture your data and print the passport right there. It will not take upto 10mins and you will have your passport.

Immigration should not be in charge of passport issuance but Ministry of foreign affairs. Bureau of Correction should be moved to under Ministry of Justice

Minister hear this -- in Spain where i live for almost 20yrs now, when you have your bio-data captured in Madrid, you have to wait like 8 to 9 months before you can get your passport. Now it has been a racketeering business. The Nigeria Embassy in Madrid always sent out their agents to all the province in Spain to collect bio-data for interested applicants, and after collecting those bio-data, the documents will stay at the Embassy for another 8 months. Now, another uncivilised and greedy thing the Nigeria Embassy are doing is police character racketeering, Nigeria is the only country Spain that has to travel to Nigeria for their police character. Ok the Embassy will invite NPF for the job in Spain then after collecting bio-data they will disappear for the next 8 to 9 months. That is criminal and dubious.

Any ACT of Bribery and Corruption shall be severely dealt with under this Leadership. Those Officers are still practicing the unpatriotic Act in Service. Officers in Rwanda, Benin Rep, Botswana are doing marvellously well in delivering their Duties..Once a Transgressor of the Rule of Law is caught in one of these Countries, He will be denounced and made available to the Justice.
