      thank you for being open about this being just advertising and not an honest opinion about the device, unlike most videos pushing the brand.
      I've been using another (major, not some cheap Chinese knockoff, brand) for a year or so and they do work but it's certainly not permanent or total.
      At best they will reduce hair growth dramatically, reducing the need for shaving.
      And if you have very light coloured hair and/or dark coloured skin they barely work at all (as most brands will warn you about in their product brochures).
      Would I buy the device I now have again? For the functionality, yes. For the ergonomics I feel I may have made a mistake because the shape isn't comfortable to use on places like the shoulders especially.
      And of course none of them are advised for use on the face or usually the crotch area because of the far more sensitive skin there (some come with attachments for those areas, mine didn't, so I can't tell how effective they'd be with those attachments given that a large part of their functionality is to reduce the output to prevent burns).

    OMG, please DO NOT do shoulder surgery. I'm a cishet male, so I don't know the first thing about gender dysphoria, but I DO know about shoulder surgery. I had bilateral partial shoulder replacements at a young age and it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. They always break down and there is no fix for them other than to go in and do corrective surgeries every 5 years or so basically until you die. So now I am just living with two bad shoulders I can hardly move and constant pain. Mathilda, please, don't do it!!! You're so beautiful already anyway, girl. I'm sure your bf tells you that all the time. Shout out from an openly trans amorous ally. :)

      cishet male here .. IPL home machines are good but take time and are never 100% effective , some hair is stubborn. if you have time (3+months or more) do it but expect to go laser or electrolysis to clean up the stragglers. I understand that for bottom surgery the skin is usually scraped clean of hair follicles from the inside/underside talk with your surgeon.

    • @Gamerlein
      @Gamerlein 3 роки тому

      Also laser removal isn't 100%, they told me right at the beginning (still doing it in a saloon) but it takes months/years too. Guess this method is fine as well. I co sister using it because the laser method is super expensive if u think about it for the long run. And yeah, having a fight with my gender disphoria too, but it helps alot to see the progress I made :3 thinking about to use this home treatment for cleavage and stuff, which I have to pay on my own :/

    • @jwenting
      @jwenting 2 роки тому

      IPL (which this device and all devices for home use are) is less effective for areas with sensitive skin, simply because of the risk of burns there if used at full power.
      So they'll be slower, require more sessions, and probably will not have an effect lasting as long as they do on say the arms.
      And no, no IPL device at all (whether home use or in a salon or clinic) will give permanent hair removal. The hair follicles WILL regenerate over time and hair will return after several months to in extreme cases years. Thus regular "touch up" sessions will always be required.
      For example, I have been using one on my arms for the last year or so (5-6 sessions with 2-3 weeks between sessions, which has reduced hair growth enough that instead of being a hairy ape all the time I now have to shave them maybe once a month at most to remove what hair remains, and maybe one session with the IPL machine a month now to keep things that way.
      Similar use on my chest has so far had very little effect btw, but maybe I need to give it more time.

      You seem to be quite ignorant of the fact that in the past, towards the beginnings of chrisianity all the way to the mid middle ages, trans people were seen as lucky, with a deeper connection with god, as god had bestowed a special mission upon them.
      Also, your view is miserably flawed. If god didn't want people to struggle for happiness.... then why did they make Job so miserable? Why are people born in poverty and in the midst of war? Why are some born with severe physical and mental conditions that cause them pain throughout their life?
      Stop spreading hate.
      Also, if god truly loves us all, what need is there for punishment? Hell exists only for those who fear it
