This video is a thank you to each and every one of you for watching my videos and supporting my channel, it really means a lot! And also a celebration of reaching 40k subscribers! Thank you to all who have subscribed 💙
i've never thought about the parallel of Freya sacrificing Davina to kill Lucien and Rebekah sacrificing Elena to kill Alaric! good catch, as always. plus Marcel using the classic 'I did what was necessary' Mikaelson excuse lol he's truly one of them this is amazing. thanks for still vidding this wonderfully dysfunctional family (Freya especially my best girl), congrats on 40k subscribers! it's been fun to watch your channel grow
I always had this idea that Vincent needed the Mikaelsons in his life. Especially Elijah. like a hero figure in a person's life, Elijah is the monster that Vincent might become. He needed them to so that he doesn't become a sad, drunk and broken guy due to his wife or a monster who does anything for his city and covens.
It was these excuses that really pissed me off. They made excuses to make themselves feel better. But there's always a choice, and I think Klaus and Elijah's death was justice. They finally got what they deserved. I think they were punished in different ways. Klaus didn't get to see his daughter grow up, Elijah lost Hayley, and he was partially responsible for her death. Kol lost Davina, the only woman he ever loved, though she came back and they got their happy ending. I'm glad Kol and Davina got a happy ending because they are my favorite couple. Rebekah lost her two brothers, and Freya lost her father and her beloved brother, Finn. I think fate punished them all in different ways for their bad deeds.
One thing I despised in this universe was that until someone else was killing, maiming or torturing people that was fine and badass. The moment the Mikaelsons do it its wrong because protecting their family was wrong. Hell everyone would do that to save their families. Their list is bigger cause they lived for a 1000 years.
It's the other way round actually. Everybody defended Klaus and Elijah even after they killed people unnecessarily and People who were actually good like Davina or Vincent were hated on for standing up to the Mikaelsons
Elijah is the heart and soul of the original family. He is THE reason it stayed somewhat together all those years. All of the members happiness and joy…….wouldnt have happened if not for the noble Elijah. And yet he sadly doesn’t get his own happy ending. In a way he does, joining Klaus and Haley in the afterlife. But i think it would’ve been great for him to take over as Hope guardian. They could’ve explained his absence in Legacies by Hope telling him to go and find his own path and happiness that doesn’t involve her. To make his own family. To make his own always and forever. Then in s4 when all the original family come back to help Hope (best episode in that show btw), we see Elijah as well. Happy and with a family that’s his as well as the family he always had. The family he helped keep together.
This is quite the masterpiece. Each Michaelson line uttered with the inspirational background music just rolls back the years for me. I really wished the show never ended
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for The Originals (2013 - 2018) Television Series. This Tribute Shows The Price Of Immortality it can be a Gift or a Curse. The Originals is My All Time Favorite Show in The Vampire Diaries Universe and My All Time Favorite Television Series.
This was so good I can not stop watching it I really loved the concept of this video it was brilliant your parallels from all of them was fantastic especially the Rebecca killing elana ferya davina and eljiah killing marcel but that second sequence was so heartbreaking your choice of music suited so perfectly I'm not to lie I had forgotten the Vicent qoute about elijah really just shows how far they would go for one another this was such a masterpiece that i will be watching for a long time this must have taken ages to find all the parallels it was so worth it and what a qoute to end on 💙
I think you did a great job highlighting that price of survival here. It isn't a concept I've seen tackled before in The Originals vids. It's such a fascinating dynamic - they were forced to do anything to survive for so long that they didn't know how else to live. I adore each one of these characters, but I don't necessarily think that Klaus earned redemption through his final act for his daughter and I think that's important to recognize, like you did here. Nicely done!
This is the best video you’ve done. Love the show and I know it’s a fantasy but it sometimes disturbs me how passionately fans want a happy ending for these characters. Even by the orange and blue morality of this universe these guys are EVIL lol
The parallel between Elijah and Hayley's argument in season four and Klaus and Caroline’s conversation in season five is excellent! The way both brothers are essentially arguing for the same thing while their words directly contradict each other speaks so much to them as characters and their relationship. I also love the way Klaus and Hayley's words echo each other. Again, so much in-depth analysis could be made from those short clips alone!
their obsession with the always and forever mantra is so ironic considering they basically just ruined each other's lives for decades on end execpt elijah i guess I love them, if anything this show taught me that people aren't good or bad. we're humans we do bad things and we learn. the trick is to know that one action, bad decision or selfish impulse does not define you. you get to make the choice every single day, this edit was phenomenal!
Absolutely fantastic work mate, congrats on 40K! You paralleling each quote and scene was quite beautiful, you have definitely made a masterpiece here! 👍😄
It seems hypocritical to me how everyone accuses the Mikaelsons of protecting their family and putting their own people above others. Doesn't everyone do this? Even ordinary people. The Michaelsons simply have a larger scale and bloodier problems. Vincent stands out the most...and where is his family? Children, brothers, sisters, parents... He doesn't have anyone, so he doesn't quite understand. He has a history with his wife. But this is not quite the same degree of intimacy and she has gone crazy. I don't think any of the Mikaesons have done this. Now that I think about it, has she gone crazy herself or is it Inadu's influence? Could she have been saved? Marcel accuses, but does the same, it’s just that his circle of loved ones is different. In general, I see the end like this. Klaus and the others were so brainwashed so much that they were then able to get rid of several big evils at once. There will always be someone who will take their place. There will be no eternal peace.

I in contrast think it is you that deserves our thanks!
Excellent video, thank you Always and Forever. Would you make one with Elijah being the core?

Their devotion to one another is unbreakable 😅. Yeah they might fight each other but they dont tolerate any outsiders threatening their family 😂😂 💪💪
The famous miklaeson statements are,"I did what had to be done, Always and forever,I had no choice, whatever it takes"

This show is truly underrated and also not at all mainstream which it deserves a 1000 times over.

Not me crying for Elijah on this comment of yours. 😢😥😇

This video captures really good, what I liked most about the Vampire Diaries and the Originals: that good and evil only is a matter of perspective

We die young in heroes or we live life long to become own monster....
Marcel and all the other people who are not a mikaelson are the best people.
