i just sold mine but it's a great "all in one car". it's a little "neutered" for lack of a better word, but that's just cars nowadays. if you want to do 1 car and the practicality isn't a turn off, this is a great car
what did you dislike about the car performance or other things
@@ohexwhy1769 it's really fast, probably faster than my 2 current cars. but the thing with that acceleration is that it's so controlled, that you go from 0 to speeding and it's not particularly exciting, you just need to slow down. it also feels very heavy, because it is. steering is a bit disconnected. the driving "experience" is just very tame, although if you need a fast daily without much drama, it's AWESOME. but if you're looking for something fun, i'm not sure if it's the right car. happy to answer any other questions
@@10essee10titans That's probably the best description of all the newer M cars as well, very fast, very controlled, and very boring. Performance numbers are crazy good but it doesn't translate to real-world driving fun. Almost "Tesla" levels of sterile, very easy to go fast with no drama, but without any drama or theater involved, there is no fun.
@@rsximus That second part of your sentence... exactly! My '22 had the normal infotainment, gear selector (not the little switch), and no mild hybrid. I figured this is the last time to get one before everything becomes like a tesla.
And then i realized, it basically already was. From a driving experience. It took my friend who isn't a "car" or "driving" guy to hit 100 on a 35mph road telling me "that didn't feel unsafe at all" for me to realize this. Sure that is quite ideal for most people, but it is soulless for actual drivers. The fun of saying "haha we're already going 70" when there was no drama to get there... wears out over time.
Very compliant and wonderful cars for people that want to feel fast with little effort (or skill, not judging but it's true). But damn. Just disappointing if you want a fun drive.
@@10essee10titansappreciate all the insight! I’m trading my 2016 340i with resonator delete for a 2022 m240i. I was originally looking at a 2019 to 2021 m2 comp but this is my one car. The m240i doesn’t get as loose but it was still fun while offering comfort for a daily.
In the future I hope to have a second car, if that’s the case, will go for something lighter with better steering feel
This car won’t do 40-45 mpg on the highway as you mentioned. It’s good but not that good. I also have a 2022 m240i
