Copy pasting this to every Nighthawk X1000 video i find, i have 900mb down, 40 up. Dual PC setup. bought the router to prevent packet lost, using cat7 cables. I play valorant with a goal to Radaint, and content creation. I stream. upgraded from cat5 to cat6 to cat7, I still get horrfic packetloss 5-10+% sometimes 15-20%, bufferbloat ratings that change from A+ to B to D random days, ranging from 90,80,70,60,50,40 and 30% QOS settings in DumaOS at random intervals with download and upload, streming or not streaming. I have done every single network congig i could think of over 2 years of troubleshooting. Logically I am lost as to what I can try next. open to new solutions thanks.
I play destiny 2. I have a ton of packet loss and bufferbloat on my 1gig internet. My character feels extremely heavy and sluggish MOST of time, however sometimes I get very low packetloss/bufferbloat and my character feels extremely light responsive and a wonderful gaming experience. I just ordered this router hoping it will help. Commenting to see if you find a solution
It’s actually ok. The thumbnail was to draw attention to the video. I should be getting the Dynalink WiFi 6 router soon which is considerably cheaper and I’m keen to compare it.
Hey, I am currently in the router spectrum provided. It’s ass, and I lag all the time in Tarkov. Has it been an upgrade for you? How do you like it so far?
@@elijahalexander3959 I returned it. TRASH router, my Comcast router gave be better ping/connection. This router is only worth it if you care to select a geolocation but that’s stupid af for normal people not trying to manipulate lobbies.
Pay each month for what? If it’s for broadband then yes as this is just a router and you would still need a contract for broadband with an Internet service provider but other than that there are no monthly charges.

It depends on what you're looking for. The r2 is good but the Wi-Fi isn't as good. Also the net Duma r2 also gets updated quicker compared to the Netgear XR Line. The difference between the XR line and the netduma r2 is pretty much hardware. I have the xr700 which is the most powerful router they have but it's no longer in production. The downside is you'll be waiting forever for update if you're going for the Netgear line. The netduma r2 will get an update quicker

Lowered my ping by 15 literally ngl I have the asus rog ax11000 and it’s not even up to par with it somehow and it only went down by 2 with that one

No your speed is determined by what package you pay for to your ISP. This is just a router and not a modem.

Does it support VPN client feature?

Do you have to have 2.4 and 5hz separate or can you just have the 1 wifi instead of the separate 2?

I'm having constant random disconnects with this router
I've owned this router for over a year and all I have is problems. Constant disconnects ask the time. It's a they should call this the nightmare 1000

I had a similar issue. I resolved it by clearing my browser history (an hour) and then it popped up. Very annoying I might add.
