Hey Guys, I’m giving a go with a premiere video. This will allow me to watch at the same time you are watching. I believe a chat should appear when the video starts. 3PM Eastern Standard Time. My first try 😂 let’s see how it goes? 😃
Right! I’ve seen those, I didn’t think about that until you mention it. I’ve also noticed that it is a camera setting thing. It appears much worse on camera👍🏻
Right now my struggle is a bicolor angel who started eating a few corals. Duncans, pectinia and a frogspawn. Puts me in a bad mood hate the idea of trying and trap him. Hope I can find coral he will leave alone and sleep can find peace again. I feed 3 times a day plus some nori...
Would be interested in a bergia update video. I need to pick some up for my tank - weird too since the tank has been running for over a year and all of a sudden aiptasia popped up. 🤨
Hi Scott, I’ve been changing water more in the 20 gallon. 20% twice monthly. So no kalkwasser in the top off. I will test weekly to see what calc and alk are doing. Then maybe some kalk. or possibly start up a two part? 😊
Hi G reef, I’ve had great success with ChemiClean. I keep it on hand. It’s completely reef safe and works really well. Just follow instructions. If you want to tough it out, and try natural, it’s siphon it off daily and wait weeks. ChemiClean usually takes 48 hours. My guess is you have a low flow tank, which encourages cyano.
What is the best liquid coral food that I can add to the powerhead? I want something that will kick up the growth. I don't want to manually feed them. I would like to pour and leave. Thank you.
Hi AOG, not all coral require direct feeding/food. They get their nutrients and trace elements from the water. So as far as coral food you would have to tell me what coral you are trying to feed. 😊I personally don’t feed anything into the water column. But my corals don’t require feeding
@AOG_ETH yes, you really don’t need to feed most corals. Some that may require food, if you have them we’ll get that from the food that the fish don’t eat.👍🏻😊 watch more of my videos 😃
Hey I have a 15 gallon tank and my clowns can’t sit still because of the wave maker and I was wondering because the tanks built in filter is powerful enough but will it get all the degree and stuff in the tank, and also I got a Kenya tree today and was wondering why it’s flopping down? Thanks again
Hey Cookies, you should be able to get away without the wave maker. Or get a lower flow wave maker. Kenya Tree, do not always stand straight up. Flopping down is normal. Over time it should grow and stand more upright. 👍🏻
@cookiescards4937 it can be hit or miss. They will climb on, and pull any food that lands on food eating corals. But they won’t eat coral. I’m talking about peppermint shrimp. Not sure about the others.
No plans yet. I’m in a phase where I really like the school of BG chromis. The large omnivores in 75 gallons tend to nip at coral. It’s not really big enough. But I can’t say I’ll never try again 👍🏻

Thanks buddy!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤It is truly paradise for me
Thank you! I’m happy you enjoy it! 🙏🏻
The 75 is looking majestic lately
Johnathan, I just had a premier video live chat was on😂
@@TOMReefer missed it by 5 minutes 😩
@wtjonny next time I’ll give 24 hour notice 😊👍🏻
I did not know you are in Florida!! That is awesome. I am in Jacksonville!! Love your videos.
Hi Steve! No, I’m in New Jersey! 😃Reef Town, where I ordered Berghia from is in FLA 😊👍🏻
🪼🦀🐟🐋🦈🐬🐡🦐🐙🦑🦞🐠🐳 gotta luv it!
If you get a diffuser for the light in the 20g it will get rid of that disco effect.
Right! I’ve seen those, I didn’t think about that until you mention it. I’ve also noticed that it is a camera setting thing. It appears much worse on camera👍🏻
@@TOMReefer I do absolutely hate that disco effect. Kessil mixes their LEDs the best. Absolutely not disco effect with my a360x
@Botzz28 I like the Kessil. Great shimmer too👍🏻

Hi Nick, angels aren’t really reef safe. It will continue to pick😏 you may have to use the trap I used to get my fox face out of my tank.
Would be interested in a bergia update video. I need to pick some up for my tank - weird too since the tank has been running for over a year and all of a sudden aiptasia popped up. 🤨
My most current vid. Updates! I put it out last night look for it.😊very successful.
@@TOMReefer Thanks Tom!
Hey T they are actually beautiful, huh. Nice video very relaxing. 🐳
Thanks Johnny!
Hi Tom! Are you just doing water changes in the 20g? Still using kalkwasser in top off for that tank?
Hi Scott, I’ve been changing water more in the 20 gallon. 20% twice monthly. So no kalkwasser in the top off. I will test weekly to see what calc and alk are doing. Then maybe some kalk. or possibly start up a two part? 😊
Love that seafan !!
You mean the gorgonian? 😊thanks Rhombifer
Nice, do u glue your corals to the rock ?
Hi Jack, yes. Usually their on a plug of sorts, then I glue that to the rock
@@TOMReefer thanks again
That Aptasia is huge. I have two small ones 😜
😂I’ve let them go for too long 🤪 the large one on the top is gone already 2 days. Berghia do work 👍🏻
Hey Tom, been fighting a cyano problem that I can’t get rid of . Any advise would be appreciated, 10 gallon with frogspawn, Ricordia , blasto

@TOMReefer lol I honestly don't know what I have. I have 2 clowns and 6 chromis. I suppose their waste is sufficient enough.

oh and one more thing is it okay to add shrimp to your reef tank if there’s corals everywhere, since they like the rocks and stuff
@cookiescards4937 it can be hit or miss. They will climb on, and pull any food that lands on food eating corals. But they won’t eat coral. I’m talking about peppermint shrimp. Not sure about the others.
yo tom, what what happened to your yellow tangs? I remember you had a big and a small one?
Lost one after the move. The second in the first few weeks I had it.😏
@@TOMReefer ah damn sorry for the los.. any plan getting another big fish?

Hi Tom. Finger cross. Nice 20g !
Hi Jean, one large aiptasia is gone already. They are eating 😊👍🏻I will update. As always Thank you!
@@TOMReefer incredible. This girls working weel
