Coming from being a freshwater aquarium hobbyist this was very good and well explained! I still think I’m too comfortable with my plants and freshwater to make the jump to try salt and corals, love the look though and fish choices with salt
I was the same way for years and wanted better looking fish options tried discus at first was horrible but I've had my reef about 6 months now and actually find the maintenance and upkeep alot easier, I don't have to do much besides check salinity and change fleece and wipe algae... no crazy trimming and delicate pruning and not disturbing substrate...I love it I'll never go back...it does cost more .
This balance is the absolute key to long term enjoyment and success with this hobby.
