The most important aspect for me is to stay calm and not get stressed when you come on the court. Once you figure that out, the serve, especially on hard court and consistency, especially on clay. Congrats on your tournament results!! I was just wondering what microphone you guys used for this video, as well as the editing software that you guys used for this video? Were the match highlights recorded with a go pro or was the match streamed. I am just trying to gather information for also making tennis videos and the easiest way to record my matches.
Great video. Loved the insight on what a pro players has to go through. I noticed there's no umpire for these matches. No ball boys and all calls are self-calls. No one in the stands. Other than prize money what's the difference between this any other match you play?
The differences apart from the money are the points that you can earn and the level of players. There are umpires in Main Draw always and sometimes in qualys. Depending on the tournament.
@@gladiatorstribe But can you earn a decent living like this? If you are constantly losing in early rounds and making no money where's the incentive? I mean, most if not all of these participants have no coach. So how do you improve yourself to rise up to the top 100?
@@twinwankel Futures are the first steps of a "ladder". There is absolutely no way of making a living from Futures only, but there is also no way to reach Challengers/ATPs/Grand Slams without going through Futures. If you aspire to be a pro, 99% of the time you will have to go through Futures. Exception: if you are an anomaly, get a wild card invite to some Challenger/ATP from the organization, and score enough points so you are granted to get into Challengers draws without going through the Futures phase.
@@TenisAmador Thanks. This system seems to be a pre-minor league system like that used for major league baseball. You are by definition a "pro" but you can't make a living so you are not true a pro. It sounds depressing.

Great video. Loved the insight on what a pro players has to go through. I noticed there's no umpire for these matches. No ball boys and all calls are self-calls. No one in the stands. Other than prize money what's the difference between this any other match you play?
The differences apart from the money are the points that you can earn and the level of players. There are umpires in Main Draw always and sometimes in qualys. Depending on the tournament.
@@gladiatorstribe But can you earn a decent living like this? If you are constantly losing in early rounds and making no money where's the incentive? I mean, most if not all of these participants have no coach. So how do you improve yourself to rise up to the top 100?
@@twinwankel Futures are the first steps of a "ladder". There is absolutely no way of making a living from Futures only, but there is also no way to reach Challengers/ATPs/Grand Slams without going through Futures. If you aspire to be a pro, 99% of the time you will have to go through Futures. Exception: if you are an anomaly, get a wild card invite to some Challenger/ATP from the organization, and score enough points so you are granted to get into Challengers draws without going through the Futures phase.
@@TenisAmador Thanks. This system seems to be a pre-minor league system like that used for major league baseball. You are by definition a "pro" but you can't make a living so you are not true a pro. It sounds depressing.
