I've huge respect for these students, they r very hardworking. It's not easy to get in IIT cz it is very competitive exam and there r large no. of competitors.
They are hardworking, very skilled, and very technically competent. But they are not creative or innovative. Their ability to think outside the box is limited, which is why IIT will never be on the same level as schools like MIT or Stanford
I'm not from India but this made me cry😢 such a great documentary that teached me a lot about overcoming hardships and hard work😢but I also felt really bad for the father with the son, he had to ask him to stop partying so that made me wonder if he even notices all of the hard word his father is doing so he can live a better life....
There's nothing to cry about it, as in our culture parents always had are and will always sacrifice for their children to succeed. The results are now visible globally, some examples are Sunder (Google), and others. The peculiar thing to note here is Sunder and others have studied in India and went to pinnacle on the global level

People working with kbs are so beyond talented I'm simply amazed how well they understood the topic and how perfectly they where able to portray it They truly understood the hearts and minds of Indians And it would have taken them a long time to research and then film and then edit it Hats off 👏 I'm so moved I mean when they probably came to India we know how hard it must have been to understand the people and culture But I think after watching the documentary I feel like they truly viewed everyone they met with Empathy and curiosity Which is why they were able to understand our culture so well

Beautiful side? Can't u see the sadness in their eyes? Away from home amongst countless competitors they are leading their life as robots. They are being trained to become slaves without a single thought of their own. Just go on studying with pressure. For what ? For doing a stupid job to some big firm? India is just not gonna change when people like u see a beautiful aspect in this kind of life. In this video most of them were so out of their comfort zone when speaking. Life is also about other things , not only academics.

Neither option is great, but at least by studying they have a chance to improve their lives. Again, not ideal, but sometimes necessary.
I am from Bihar 🇮🇳. And i understand the situation. I feel glad to this documentary movie 🎥 and i have get goosebumps when i see these students face they take so much responsibilities in young age , god bless you everyone, have a great future come to in your life . I think in Bihar mostly every home has least one engineer in thier home 😊.
my sister got into IIT in her first try back then i dont know getting into IIT was that difficult but after knowing i have huge respect for her and i came to know how much talented she is

Firstly thank you KBS for such beautiful effort for showing this side of India too unlike many other countries which shows the negative aspects only.And as of this show it made me so so proud ,though Iam not an engineering student or an employee I cant be immensely proud that my country is changing in such positive way despite its cruel hardships..there may also be pros and cons to the pathway but little efforts starting from the very core can surely be the biggest change education can bring.....And this hardships are moulding the coming shining diamonds of the future.....

Wow such an mindblowing documentary. It really won my heart on how much hard work has been put for producing this masterpiece by your time. I also studied in Kota and went through the same journey so can totally resonate. In the end I really got emotional seeing the kids in that village now getting chance to study and so many girls getting the chance to study and getting to prepare for jee for free. It really made me so happy. The people in those village who are making it possible for kids to get such education should definitely get some award. Beside that corporate should support these kind of kids and girls that will be real impact instead of supporting already privileged people while hiring. Absolute 10/10 from me for this masterpiece.

This made me tear up. There is part of society that don't have access to education thats why they are suffering. And the other part has access to education but are suffering from the education system. Either ways we have to keep moving forward in the hope of grabbing the opportunity to change our life around. This documentary is so well made.
They're suffering because of thier weak mindset and they'll keep on suffering due to that I don't wanna share my story to prove it but I can say whatever situation will come I'll face it and I'll be ruthless towards myself and towards others if it's necessary for my goal
remember in India approx 10 lakh give JEE out of which only 40k secure seats in TOP COLLEGES like IITs and NITs........also this is the population factor that make many indian exams more challenging

After 12th here in India rat race starts in all field. UPSC SSC Banking IIT Jee(medical) Ca. Etc And really sad part is that seats are limited around (1000-15000) depend which exam you are preparing like upsc for 1000 but applicants are in millions in all these exam.

thank you for making this documentary. it is very overwhelming for me to watch this video as my sister is also in iit right now and we are a middle class family in india. so studying is the only way left to make our dreams come true.

Seeing IIT on KBS world was not something I'd expected!!!!
After 12th here in India rat race starts in all field.

And really sad part is that seats are limited around (1000-15000) depend which exam you are preparing like upsc for 1000 but applicants are in millions in all these exam.
