I'm a 30 year old grown man and I'll never forget the wonderful childhood memories he gave me. I've continued to play his music throughout my adult life, and will continue to do so. His passing hits hard for all of us who grew up with radio Disney in the early 2000s. It's been a couple days and it's just now hitting me, he's really gone. I can't believe this. Love you brother. Thank you for everything you've done AC. I'll see you on the other side..

The irony of everyone getting sentimental about a guy who was clearly warped by his childhood fame... maybe you people should start questioning if making children mega stars before they reach the age of puberty is a healthy thing? Haley Joel Osmont, Corey Feldman, McCauley Culkin, Matthew Jake Lloyd and countless other men I grew up on, all end up being permanently f'ed up from childhood stardom and maybe it's time we start dismantling that, even if their songs make us feel good for a whole 15 seconds.

@@starchmonkey I think it's the molestation that messes them up more than "stardom" but I think they usually go together for some reason.

I'm 30 years old and used to bump this song and the rest of his songs on the album with my boombox and CD. Then I rediscovered him a few years back and still was a fan. That was such a great era. I even look like him with blond hair and had my haircut just like his were it's parted down the middle and came down the side of the head. Almost like a bowl cut but wayyyyyy cooler.

My 13 year self saw this when it came out and Aaron was my first crush. Now I’m 34 and I’m saddened to see how far he went down in a deep hole of mental health issues and battling trauma. I used to check in on him on his IG lives and I can tell he was struggling. Not the same Aaron we all grew up with. RIP Aaron and may this story influence others who are struggling to get help.

Let him be a beacon for those of us who have struggled in the dark. I'll miss you, Aaron.

My childhood was a little happier due to your music and I smile thinking of simpler times listening to it. Fly high brother🙏🙏🙏

Came to honor this guy here. I had this cd and also the vhs tape he had at the time that showed some of his music videos from the cd and some extra footage of him. Always thought he was the coolest as a kid and was still rooting for him in recent years to find happiness.

I remember this song being heavily rotated on Radio Disney when it first came out. I was 7 at the time and I thought this was just the coolest song; I even used to have his cover of “I Want Candy” on a hit clip. Definitely good memories and times that have long gone by. Rest In Peace, Aaron.
