Actually that isn't true, the initial impact with the water. Parts of the left wing was slashed off. When the pilots regained control it was only for about 22 seconds. Now that the plane was compromised. That more lift was generated on the right wing. The plane inverted and killed all 70 people onboard.

The titel of the video is wrong. He never said that he was shocked about the identity of the co-pilot, he actually said he is a professional and he didn’t cared that much about his personal loss.

Usually aeroperu flight 603 and captain says: “V2 + 10” then co-pilot noticed the altimeter issue and pilots are declared emergency 🆘 when pilots asked controller if there’s a basic instrument problem but it happens again.
