@@seethrucrew4092 shut the burners off let it cool to about 300 -350 degrees F use hot water on the flat top not cold. it still works just as well as the method shown in this video. hot tap water will still steam on a 350 degree surface. you need to avoid thermal shock which is what can cause your flat top or cast iron skillets to warp.

cold water on a hot rolled steel flat top. my 17" blackstone slightly warped from cleaning it that way.

I just scrape after each cook, never clean. Cooktop is well seasoned and never rusts. I always leave a coat of oil or fat on it.
