Overall whoever had it kept the car well maintained, I know the wheels are a turn off for some, but I have seen a lot of impalas lately they have been dragged through the mud, so I can appreciate the up keep on this one.
When I was younger this would’ve been a beauty but now that I’m older these cars are the best when they’re left original with minor mods

Nice, but I do not like the rims and they did trick out the computer by putting the sensors on the test pipes of where the converters were. For the speakers in the back, they can go and so can the steering wheel. But overall I still like it and changes can be made to your liking. Nice 27 year old Impala SS and that's for sure.

Nick! Rolling in the donk! 😂 Take that bad boy to the south side of Chicago and you might just get $40k cash! .. I did not see anything resembling a catalytic converter on the car. Might not pass inspection in some states. 1996 SS is a very desirable car. .. if the wheels aren't your style, they're easy to sell and worth quite a bit. That's a kick butt ride. A future classic for sure!
You are right on the money James, for this car had 2 converters on it and they put test pipes on both sides with the sensors, so they would not alert the computer. Good call.
@@mastergunnerysgt1258 It's also missing the air bag on the steering wheel, which can also cause an inspection failure in some areas. High flow cats are pretty cheap and cost you no horsepower. Silly to risk a big fine with test pipes.
