As a terraria fan, i liked is how you played the terraria day theme when you were in the village, and the crimson theme when you were close to the flesh.

I do hope this mod gets an update, it is missing infector models and stats for the other 4 stages. It could also use a way to heal the burned areas when the fire goes out.
You should try to find golem mods. These villages gotta be better prepared. If it's on your version, what about Modular Golems? It's a little complicated cause you have to put materials together with clay templates (anvil, stonecutter part of it), but with some resource grinding you might be able to make some use out of otherwise expendable ores like Copper. Might also have to get something which lets you craft blocks to clay. One other idea: There's a mod called Regrowth. If it's on your version and you put it in, you might want to check the configs. One feature is that the villagers (if a cobblestone block is above their Village Bell) should begin building walls and repair their golems if they have the appropriate professions and have some trade levels.
There's a mod called "Late game golems" which adds insanely strong ones, you can equip them with special weapons and armor but they're also quite expensive. I feel like that could be a way to deal with the 9000hp flesh colonies though.
i have an idea there this mod, it's called minefortress essentially turns minecraft into a rts, you have control a village and you have to grow food gather resources etc. (with a top down view like a rts) maybe combining it with a parasite mod would be cool, because you can recruit warriors, build walls, fortifications etc.
The first 30 minutes: "I need to do x. I need to do y. I need to do z." Wastes so much time doing absolutely nothing, much less x, y, or z. It was so frustrating to watch you just say "oh no I need to leave" and never actually leave, and never actually make any progress. The lack of executive function was really killing me over here. Also, definitely don't drink shots every time he says "I'm not gonna lie;" you'll be drunk within 5 minutes.

Depending on the version and launcher you use, I would recommend adding some mods, there’s one mod called “Villager Recruits: Commander and Captain Update” on Curseforge that allows you to recruit armed villagers and build an army that could be useful against the Flesh That Hates, also if it keeps breaking your gravestone there’s another mod called “Corpse” that spawns a corpse where you die, but the corpse is an indestructible entity and floats in water, it also comes with a previous death menu where you can see the cords you died at.
Am I the only one who noticed the OG Resident Evil 2 main hall music playing at 18:20?? I wanna give the mod maker the benefit of the doubt, but that is definitely copyrighted music and I doubt Capcom licensed it for use 😅

We didn't realize you could possess the other robots for the longest time until we reached the part of the story mode where it tells you what that gun does. But once we figured that out it changed the game entirely. I wish it was backwards compatible on Xbox series x so badly bruh. Either way the video was great man keep it up!!

These Intros are really great, especially since they're only like 10-15 seconds long, short and sweet with a little banger sequence. The only thing I can really say flesh wise, is fire, fire, fire. Fire will actually destroy the biome AND does double (or triple, I don't remember) damage to the mobs (Fire aspect is the goat). Not enough to clear it on it's own, but a little fire here and there can slow it down. Similar to the Sculk Horde and unlike SRP, since this has a "Rooted" placement, it is actually somewhat managable. As for how fast it was growing, this thing is literally a living, bubbling cancer, enough said. However, the last and maybe most helpful bit of info: BIOMES with a COLD enough temperature actually slow the transformation speed of blocks, evolution growth, and weaken the mob stats a little, similar to how to actual SCP is based in Russia, and it has been said multiple times if it was anywhere but Russia the world would already be destroyed by an XK-Class End Of The World Scenario where the flesh wins. Even in Russia, they have to burn and prune the edges of where the flesh had infected a village almost daily to keep it where it is. I believe, fighting it in hotter biomes actually makes it grow faster, and somewhere as temperate as the grasslands, yeah, it's gonna spread like wildfire, being in a taiga or arctic biome might be your only hope. Also, I think at a certain phase the mobs DO start spawning globally, which is probably why they kept appearing out of nowhere without being near the biome.
Perhaps you should get a mod that gives you guns, like Timeless and Classic Zero. I'm not sure you can fight back against an infection this strong and fast without sufficient firepower of your own.
theres a little secret with the flesh called th e holy dognut its because the flesh will spawn a new incubator when you get a certan range away from spawn also it will try to spawn an infector if one does not exist so what you can do is spawn one directy at spawn then run far enough away so that its unloaded but not so far away that it trys to spawn a new one the only problem with this is that it will continue to gain points so if you load that area all the buit up points are used at once and it expands increasingly fast the flesh itself has a dognut of were mobs can spawn that expands the larger it grows so you need to be aware of that aswell

I assume it would make attacks more telegraphed and gives attacks actual hit-boxes, rather than enemies just running into you and basically doing contact-damage... Getting hit by strong, long-ranged attacks from enemies would probably feel much less unfair, too
Maybe not since it will be incompatible with the other mobs from other mods while limiting your fighting ability since it is more designed for the ones compatible with said mod.

feel like the enemies need to be more contained too the biome especially if they going to end up with thousands of health its good that the biome spread feels fightable, but it dosent seem to nerf the enemys spawned in it.
I really like this mod, it’s the exact kind of parasite mod I was looking for when I was super interested in modded Minecraft. Unfortunately if it expanded too much it crashed my game. Maybe it’s because of my computer or maybe I needed a special mod I didn’t know of but if anyone has suggestions for how to stop the crashing I’d appreciate it.
I'd suggest you try to get flint & Steel asap because you can just keep reapplying it whereas with lava you have to put the source block far enough away that the Flesh Incubator can only delete the non-source blocks

The Flesh That Hates dominates both Spore and Sculk Horde in a three way fight which is kind of insane
30:50 to 31:03 is a soul crushing and utterly exhausting moment of terror that the enlightenment phase of TFTH truly gives.

@@alkimos55it does make it more telegraphed. Endermen learn Kung Fu and use teleportation in their attacks, so that's cool.
